Simple Fishing Skill Question

after my 200 catch fishing Fatigue....

can i still get skill ups?

... you can only get skillups when you pull fish up ie catches line breaks rod breaks. After 200 fishing fatigue you cant even get a bite

No 200 a day period...unless your less then lvl20 then 10. that was the old fatigue system dont apply no more

they should implement a higher fatigue cap for higher levels like 500 fish for lvl 50+ and 1000 fish for lvl 75

Until about december last year there was only the 200... then the day after I try to fish on mules for lu shangs bam gotta be lvl 20 /sigh. Oh and really 1000 would be rediculous later on. Bite rates get horrible. Some of the good money fish I doubt you could catch 1k in a day even if you had a bot running 24/7 and had the inventory for it.

rofl, but still, for skilling, and ok maybe 1k is too much, but im looking for skill..

and bots running all day could easily roll in 1k moats ROFL! but legend fish and stuff, black sole. i dont think so, i knew a few bots before they quit ffxi (or got banned) and they reeled in like 100-150 fish per hour

Thats too high. Even at 100% bite rate it takes me over 2 hours to get to full fatigue on my mules... and yes with right moon phase and insect paste you can get 100% bite rate in knights well

Okay, I'm a little lost. I heard about the fatigue but didn't fish enough to understant it. I get it's 200 bites. However:

Does the fatigue only affect people under a certain level? So is it still able to be botted at 75 or something? >_>

I thought it was static regardless...

after realing in 200 fish/items you will be at full fatigue and cant get a bite of anything. On the way there /recast on /fish increases from about 3sec to 7-8ish. Thanks to updates at the end of last year if your under lvl 20 you hit full fatigue in 10 fish and your /recast goes up by a good 1 sec each thing you pull up.

And the 200 fatigue wears off after JP midnight, or a new Vana day? O.o I can't see how you can get to 100 skill off of 200 fish a day >_<

jp midnight. ANd um no you cant get 100 skill in a day. With pelicans ring and targeting right fish and only pulling up skill up fish you can get a good 2-4 lvls a day. Without ring usually only 1-2. But its pure profit though not always great profit

Yeah, I meant that over time. Fishing skill is notorious for not getting any skill for a long *** time. Thanks for the info.
