I consider Kenpa one of the best characters in the series and it is my opinion he shouldn't change from the way he is. He is just a berserker who loves to bathe in blood and can't communicate with his sword(he can't even use magic in any form unlike other shinigami..forgot what's the 'magic' is called like..reiki or something like that?), his only connection is with Yachiru(that Kubo said we'll see fighting - hopefully he doesn't forget about it).

If he doesn't, I'm okay with it... so long as it explains WHY or he at least makes a little progress with his sword. Don't just leave it open ended. I'm just saying that because Kubo gave one of his most awesome characters two panels in the final arc, him being a *** badass, and then him obliterated. Now he's probably in a coma? bleach and naruto, I learned to just read it every week and just take it for what it is, saves me a headache for wanting something to happen and then getting trolled.

He either gets his *** handed to him or he wins because he swings his sword harder. Agree that a character having this perspective is awesome, but he needs to take five minutes and train some.
Found it pretty lol that they trained for 18 months and were almost wiped out.

on the kenpachi topic, didn't they at one point hint that kenpachi had found his swords name, I think it was something after aizens reveal, when everyone was recupperating before the espada even showed up. I wanna say kenpachi said something about how his next fight against ichigo wasn't going to be the same 2 on 1 fight. eh, i might just be imagining it.

I'd love to see kenpachi learn kido. Since he has the highest spirit energy/spirit pressure, even a Hado #1 of his would obliterate Seretei I bet. (If kido is magic and Reitsu/Reiryoku are MP/INT/MND, then kenpachi has the highest potential for amazingly destructive kido power...if only he could/would learn it.
That would be so out of character...it would suck.
Yeah, the Eleventh Division is kinda all about not using kido. Their captain using it would make no sense.
I think the person who was talking at the end is Urahara, just seems like him.
Senjumaru seems like a weird name for a chick, probably a trap knowing Kubo lol, since maru is usually in boys names.

I know it would be out of character. Of course Tite would do that because if Kenpachi ever did learn Kido, he would have the most destructive Kido in existence with the level of spiritual power that he possesses.
