This is what I TP in atm because noone does NNI and my tags are busy being used for other things atm:
/dnc of course.
ItemSet 302286
I kinda cling to this build because the sphereboost for the others, the acc from sword+dagger skill on the pieces, plus 17acc and its one of the few builds I can pull off 25-26% haste and still get ~22% parsed critrate for myself at the same time.
For food I bounce between sushi if we do NMs, otherwise ycb cause my alexandrite habit takes its toll on my pocket :P

Nearly all the time for fodder or NMs we only have 2song bards so we only get double marches and when we rotate bards for NM its marchx2 madx2.

If a cor can do over 200k total damage dealt per run without a 3-4 song derpaderpharp bard i'd love to know how. I also stop to pull/cc adds with lightshot and roll evokers for mages sometimes which kills my own damage output.

I dunno what classifies samurais as godly but ours do 600k+ damage total per run each sometimes and they spike 8-9k shohas >.>

No offense, but if you're going to claim COR can only do 1/3 of a SAM and unable to do more than 200k a run without busying on something else but SAM can do 600k, you should compare with pre-NNI/SoA SAM too. Not trying to claim I'm super good or COR can do a lot when they DD, just saying your claim isn't legit because you should compare jobs in same lv of gears.

Your 600k SAM probably has phorcy/SoA gears, when you're using lv 90~95 era set. According to spreadsheet even with sushi your TP acc still way below cap.

There are several tips and tricks to increase output, for one you don't always need evokers. I'm pretty sure SCH doesn't need evokers because every SCH I pt with often sit at over 1k MP, so it's just a waste of pt output to do evokers if they have no MP issue.

QD and WF are ranged WS, so sometimes you can QD/WS from afar before the mob come to camp for extra dmg.

If you're using physical WS, use same QD element as current day for obi/zodiac ring proc, and that can squeeze out some more dmg.

Although those tips and tricks make little difference, in the long run they add up and it can certainly help you push over 200k dmg a run.

This is my cheap TP set I use if I'm feeding other DD hunter, obviously there are room for improvement, but I'm cheap ._.
ItemSet 144931

If DDs doesn't need acc buff then I change hands to thurandaut and neck to tiercel and do chaos+fighter.

@Sapphire: Heartseeker+dudgeon earrings are the best upgrade you can make if you need extra accuracy, aside from Letalis.

@Leo: thurandaut chapeau, skadi hands and manibozho feet would be ideal. Otherwise any haste+4 hands to bring you to 25 without needing the head.

If you can't get thaumas and need acc, you can use manibozho body, which can be augmented with attk/acc for even more acc.

I think dusk +1 hands can also be augmented with acc, make it a pretty good haste +4 hands.

since you wanna split hairs more, when i'm comparing myself against SAMs and saying I do 1/3 to 1/2 their damaage, they have rank 6-10 Delve GK and generally have rank 6-12 on mikinak pieces+the usual top end accessories. I'm partially geared with SoA gear for tp and ws so comparing stuff in gear tiers gets fuzzy.

Top 3 DD on a run account for 55-60% of the alliance damage and they are always in my party and they get chaos+tacticians. I do 10% of the alliance total damage. best run so far a top DD did 25%.

I don't really have any good comparative data besides that, I've outparsed a NNI ukon war because they came up short on acc, so it all depends on who you are comparing yourself against.
In terms of my own gear regardless of what the spreadsheet says the people parsing say i'm ~90% acc in general with sushi so that will have to do for now until I get more upgrades.

I'm about the same, in morimar fracture at least. I get about 90-95% acc in there with sushi, /dnc, and the following set:
ItemSet 301186
Dagger has acc+8 aug on it.

Upgrades are obvious but was going for the most acc I could get atm while still keeping haste up. Have dagger merits but no sword merits, and don't have delve sword yet.

I just use wildfire as it's most consistent so far (~1700-1800 without firestorm or fireshot). I ws about 50-55 times a run (the best heavy DDs I've seen so far get ~60-75 ws), on decent trash mob farming runs anyway (usually camping a certain area). I get around 45/50/5 split on melee dmg, ws, and qd, saving a qd charge for light shot more often now.

I used to get around the same number of ws when I shot for tp, but ranged dmg was in the dirt, something like 10/75/15 dmg split between ranged, wf, and qd (I would /sch for firestorm and use fireshot constantly). Meleeing shoved dmg output up quite a bit. This is morimar, and most of the shout groups I join go there now.

Still saddened at not pewpewing, but this spoke for itself after I parsed myself for a couple runs.

edit: did have sword merits, silly me.

A bit derail since this isn't about delve, but after many parse data I think we can't judge how good DDs are by their total damage ._., since your total damage is related to how good other DDs are and amount of pop close to the pt, since mob pop positions are random that having more pullers doesn't always work better. There's one pt I've been to that wasn't so bad, every mob died in seconds and we often have to wait for repop because other room close to camp were empty, but highest DD only did 420k. There was another pt when highest DD did 580k but one DRK was ultra gimp so the other 2 DD got to do more dmg.

Just so you know, offhanding that Twilight Knife is actually lowering your melee DPS. You'd actually be better off single-wielding it until you have delve sword.

Good news everyone

Quote:
Ranged Weapons
Ranged Weapons Pre-adjustment Post-adjustment
Attack (STR) 50% → 75%
Accuracy (AGI) 50% → 75%
Biggest boost here is the extra accuracy we will gain(especially considering that we're packed on agi all the time anyway).

It's not the melee dps I was worried about, it was mostly in tp gain. I did try single wielding once, and it was worse for tp gain (get roughly 200+ extra swings with dw). But I do get what you say, the dmg difference is very noticeable. Same problem I'm having on thf trying to decide what to pair with the thing when it's not thief knife lol.

Delve sword is a goal though, so I will have one eventually. Though perhaps I should unmule my joyeuse in the meantime; honestly hadn't thought about it until now and just went with a dagger I had on slip.

Tbh on thf if you don't have an augmented skirmish dagger or 99/95 emp/relic, you'd also be better off single wielding.

You shouldnt always sacrifice dps for tp gain, that's the reason we don't melee with merc Kris.

COR is confusing.

Is there an updated DPS spreadsheet for COR? I haven't seen anything besides the old link (Ihm's) on the first page.

Greetings Cap'n Seha!

Ive recently started COR and im wondering: with all the gear options, macro pieces 'n all. At endgame, is any of the AF1 armor worth obtaining for any reason? Apart from looking Badass.

Also, Whats your thoughts on Acinaces? Worth getting?

And should SE introduce pirate ships for corsair only rum drinking time and mischievous tomfoolery?

Not sure what you would do with any piece of AF at this point. The head had some use, but Pandinus(I think) should be a better option for QD at any time, and it's like 35k now.
Think you need to finish AF before you can do Cor limit break, which could be fun and gives an awesome title.
Not sure when you'd ever use Acinaces now either. Still see a lot of cor's using it even though Chatoyant should always be better for damage and it's a crappy melee option.

None. Hat used to be good, but now many other headpieces beat it for Quick Draw(Thaumas, Pandinus, Seiokona). Rest is all outdated as well(unless you really want dat parry skill on the gloves!)

Acinaces isn't worth anything either. When you need WF you want to use a chatoyant, when you want to melee you should use the delve sword/dagger, so acinaces really has no place anymore.

And yes, yes, we need ships! This was my idea for a new JA I posted multiple times hoping SE would grant it:
Jolly Roger: Summons a pirate ship that shoots its cannons at the enemies in range for massive damage. [Instant; 1 hour recast]
Wouldn't that be awesome!!

This is a list of all of the dps spreadsheets.

Motenten's DPS spreadsheets.

Cor isn't on here and neither is rng. From a melee aspect, you could just copy thf or something and add the gear and perhaps modify a few bits. I've never dabbled in ranged damage before so my knowledge of this is really limited but I'm not sure it would be very easy to make a ranged damage spreadsheet.

Anyway, I hope someone does cause I'm leveling cor atm...

So, recently I leveled COR for a new project basically. Something to gear and it never hurts to have a COR around for buffs. So I Got it 99, capped Marksmanship and merited it etc etc. Built an awesome Ranged TP set, Quick Draw set, and Last Stand set, got a Surefire and Manibozho hands. So I started off using it for just silly things like Salvage and other older content happily shooting away but then I moved to the new content on it and noticed a lot of R.acc problems so I came to the forums and started reading, and quickly became disheartened. Is basically the only thing COR's do now melee with delve weapons? Is there no hope for Guns anymore really? And if not now, do you think after the STR and AGI change to Ranged Attacks do you think it'll make a comeback? Or not really. Sorry for the wall of txt, thanks in advance~

I think the Cor G5 title is "Master of chance" but I really can't remember or check at the moment. Still need to actually do that fight sometime, just always forget to go farm the test.
Nice that toau/wotg g5s all properly end their jobs storyline, actually don't care about the fight itself now, just completion, lore, and the title.

It depends. In plasma farm that's basically like an aby exp party, so shooting really has no place because it's slow, thus melee is much more effective(if you're not pulling and can actually unsheath the weapons).

On delve NMs it also varies, for example it's worthless to shoot the chapuli, while it's dangerous to get close to craklaw or eft, etc. Keep in mind that if you can stab it you can also shoot it because the skill is the same, and actually in a shooting set we tend to stack much more accuracy than in melee(going full racc in every slot has little impact, while going all acc in melee gimps you a lot). Personally only thing I had trouble shooting was raptor and peiste when left unblinded.

Some things are just impossible to hit though. I haven't done megabosses yet, but I believe we are floored on those no matter how much racc, food or buffs we get - if rangers have trouble, we have no chance in hell. So for those we can actually only roll, QD and Wildfire during magic damage phases, tping only with QD and regain if you can put it on.

On naakuals it greatly depends on the colonization of the area, but since on all servers it usually stays low, those are QD only fights.

Hmm thanks for the feedback! Another question if you don't mind? Is Armageddon still worth it to get even if you don't plan to 99 it? (90 max maybe?) How's the damage of Wildfire compared to Last Stand? Armageddon is easy enough to complete I've been pondering whether it's even worth it with Surefire out.

When Last Stand is fully buffed it's a superior ws(unless the mob is weak to magic/resists physical). However, in all new content we have a major problem which is the accuracy necessary to land both hits(can do on delve fodder, hardly on bosses). Wildfire on the other hand is always viable unless the mob has a huge magic resistance, so Armageddon is still worth having for that(can be resisted, but cannot miss).

Speaking of QD only fights, have you parsed your resist rate on naaks or delve NMs?
I've just been eyeballing it so far but resists happen and they really bug me.

I used to take stuff like darkshot always working for granted when I fired one off, but NMs+mobs in adoulin will resist.
Transcendental scorpion likes to resist darkshot if you wanna get rid of his atkboost, etc.

Desultor with 4macc 4mab or Denali legs feel like they are best in slot and should both beat out chasing after the extremely rare nimue's tights which lack macc like the other 2 pieces.
That being said, for QD damage I lean towards just sticking with Navarch's culottes paired with the boots now, and mix in some macc and cross my fingers for those triple damage procs.

Arvina Ringlet instead of a 2nd aug'd demon's ring on hard stuff is my preferred choice now since the agi/marksmanship/macc on it all contribute towards lowering resists. Making an all-out macc build for darkshots on NMs is tempting.

Pondering Mephitis Grip for 4 more macc and 1 less mab than an elder grip to make this my target macc build for hard stuff:
ItemSet 303359
For group 1 merits, maybe QD acc is worth getting again too?, havent found the sweetspot for mab/macc yet but it feels like the days of stacking mab only are over.

I haven't been on dispel duty on anything, but my damage goes unresisted on naakuals around 98% of the time.

I don't use Denali kecks cause it's not worth the inventory slot, so I just stick to Navarch pants as well. Don't have acc merits and this is my current set

ItemSet 214604

Minus the pants like I mentioned. Also against naakuals I swap hands for navarch as well since the tp is worthless and I'm not really getting anything out of the macc. I also swap in Zodiac on proper days in place of Moepapa. Not obis cause I don't have enough space for more than Karin...

For light and dark shot only can use things already in inventory to optimize towards accuracy

Chatoyant/reaver or elder(depends what you use)/arma/omphalos
blood/arctier or faith/agi earrings if you have
mirke/schutz/stormsoul/moepapa or arvina
navarch/aquiline/thurandaut/navarch

Just an FYI, since it was mentioned recently: Cor spreadsheet is completed, and ready for people to find bugs in use.

And Krizz: I'd estimate about 12 hours of work to complete it, altogether.
