Just an FYI for anyone that was on the fence about ever buying Dark Souls. Steam is currently having a flash summer special as it does every year.

Currently Dark Souls is at 75% off for a cost of 7.49 USD. Special lasts for 6 more hours.

I bought the game when it was first released on the PC for 39.99 and would still pay that much for that game today. 7.49 is practically a steal and if Dark Souls ends up not being your cup of tea.. Well.. You paid about as much for the game as a Carl's Jr burger meal.

Do i need to do some wierd buying of an expansion or whatnot like i would have for XBOX to get the painted world access?
