I'd recommend going back to the undead merchant in UB and buying a bow/arrow and then going under the bridge and sniping his tail off. The Drake Sword is a great starting weapon.. I usually use it until Sen's.

(Sorry Kali! Those are the only spoilers I'll give him D: I promise. the dragon tail thing is easily missed :x)

Undead Burg
From the Bonfire, exit out of the bonfire room and kill the Undead Soldier with a crossbow and 3 Undead Soldier on the area below to the right. Kill the two Undead Soldier with spears on the opposite roof top area. Smash the crates (in the spear soldier area) around the stairs going down. Once in the room downstairs deal with a Undead Soldier hidden behind some crates, as he will surprise you later while talking to the merchant otherwise. The merchant is out of the door opposite to the bottom of the stairs on a ledge.

Drake Sword isn't even that good :| Beat the demon, he was surprisingly easy after you get away and heal after the fall and use a shield that blocks magic damage

Only because you can aim with a bow and not a crossbow, crossbow still has great uses.

Should I get a bow instead of using this crossbow? or just stick with it?
I don't think you can aim with a crossbow but idk since I've never used one. You don't need a good bow just one that will let you shoot off the tail :P

I didn't say it was the best weapon.. I said its a good starting weapon.. it one shots most mobs in that area :/

I've only got the GS once.. I even farmed humanity to 15 my last playthru and none of them will drop it x.x
