Anyone on Dark Souls PS3 near 115 have the Moonlight Greatsword I can borrow or have? Looking to complete a Knight's Honor.

I have one on a char at that range but it's at +3, idk if you need the NQ for the achievement, but i'll be doing seath again for this char on NG+ and I can cut the tail off for another. I failed to cut Seethe's tail on my new character (SL around 100) :/ and my other character that has it is around 170. I recently discovered that you can cut off his tail w/o breaking his heart. So just spend some time slashing away at him, his tail still has a hp bar or w/e you want to call it that isn't affected by the heart.
I used a +5 black knight great axe, 2 handed swing, took about 5 swings >.> so I don't think it's an actual HP, but more of a chance based on dmg? That is clearly more than 2500 dmg and other times when I cut the tail off I'm sure I didn't do nearly as much. /shrug Siren.Kunimatsu said: » Cerberus.Tikal said: » Anyone on Dark Souls PS3 near 115 have the Moonlight Greatsword I can borrow or have? I'm able to trade now if you're able to, just pick a place where you can summon me, if not we can arrange a time. I was using an Uchigatana+15, first playthrough, and at 40 DEX, that's quite damaging. Still, the number of hits required could still be related to the weapon type though, with heavier weapons requiring less swings. /shrug :) Siren.Kalilla said: » I recently discovered that you can cut off his tail w/o breaking his heart. Seath's is closer to his hip if I remember right. Thanks Kunimatsu. Just need two drops from Anor Londo and I've got the trophy. Two more miracles after than that and I'm platinum.
I've been only one trophy short of getting my platinum in Demon's Souls. Yes, you guessed it right, the bloody Bladestone trohpy. That stuff just never dropped for me.
I'm wondering if anybody could help me with that. If you do, please PM me. Thanks! does anyone here play this on xbox? im getting my *** handed to me by the four kings, i cant take them out. soul level is 44. i would just level it up a bit but im trying to gain access to the darkwraiths at a lower level for some low level pvp. gt is Dom of Italy if you would like to give me a hand. in the meantime, gonna go at it some more

It'd help your output. You could also max the hell out of your Pyromancy and rock Combustion. The general goal is to wipe out each king as it spawns, or you'll be overwhelmed.
How ragequit inducing is this game? Sounds like a lot from descriptions I found around.
im gonna go full on glass canon mode, gonna grab the red tear stone ring and try my pvp build. im screwed if i get hit by one of his moves anyway, might as well try getting some additional evasion.

You have to take things slow and know when to back off, also know when to push forward. To play the game you have to be prepared for the game not holding your hand. It will give you hints where to go, but you have to make your way there. You have to memorize the areas, there is no map. You have to pay attention to the monsters moves or you will suffer horribly. You have to learn about the enhancement system or you will suffer. The game is incredibly fun and rewarding, but you have to put the effort into it. I've never had so much fun playing a game but this isn't something you go into hacking and slashing and expect to win. yeah i cant do it =/ just wasted 10 gold pine resins on these guys. theyre better gankers than forest people! the last 2 times i died were cause the 3rd and 4th king both spammed the magic explosion thing on me

The biggest thing to associate with this game is that dying is not 100% negative, and is part of the experience. There is a learning curve, for sure, but doesn't take too long to get used to. That being said, this game is fairly sadistic. As Kali mentioned, it is also incredibly rewarding. I don't think I've ever had as much fun on a game either, and to add on shutting down gankers, it's some of the most satisfying gaming experiences I've ever had. I may have a character that I can help ya with, if we can do it before 8:30 EST. Or anytime after my events, or tomorrow.. just gotta let me know!! I laugh because I was having such an issue playing and it got my bro playing it because he thinks I just suck...and he had an easy time with it which made me rage more when I played. lol >.< Well. Forum fail by me.
@Daus, I know the feeling man. When I first bought the game and was playing it, I farmed up a lot of souls at the dragon bridge. Somewhere near 900k (It was mindnumbing.. so boring :X) and lost it all to a low level invader. When running back, I got trounced by the Boar. ; ; the sad memories lol yeah one of the most rage inducing things about the game is the fact that the games currency and exp are souls. You get souls from killing things and stuff like that but if you die you drop everything where you died. You can try and run back to were you died and repick up all your junk again but if you die before you get there you lose it all forever.
highly irritating. no matter how high you level monsters can still easily kill you (they don't level with you, they just hit that hard) and you can easily kill yourself by falling off ledges and just overall not paying attention. It would drive me nuts trying to run to boss rooms and it'd never be a clear shot to them, you'd usually have to run through enemies or kill them and if you get hurt you only have limited items to cure yourself with so I'd try and spare my cure items for the boss fight and then I'd end up dieing in the boss and have to run through the same field of enemies again trying to get back to the boss... and I'd defeat a boss and be all gleeful and run away with my 20k souls and leave the boss room and get killed and lose everything I just earned (cause I'm that dumb). Fun times sometimes. or or there would be battle fields where in order to get to the boss you'd have to fall 50 ft and lose half your life from falling 50ft and pray the boss doesn't do an aoe upon entry and kills you so that you can try to recover and attempt to kill him (STRAY DEMON WTF I hate depending on pure luck..FU game) |
