I'm actually looking for someone to do a duo playthrough of the game, since the soapstone is available so soon, it would be great fun to tag team areas twice in a row I think, though maybe a little patience testing too lol

I'll probably end up asking Dameion to do it, but you know, if you wanted to sometime :P

For anyone having trouble with the boreal outrider knights in DS3... try to find the human pine resin. That ***is wiggedy wack on how high it pushes your damage per swing against them.

The Black Gultch in DS2 is a horrible area. Whoever thought it was neat to put a billion poison shooting statues all over the area needs to be slapped. Oh and the 3 phantom's spawning was fun too. Now I know why they had the NPC summon signs so far away from the boss door. lol

Black gulch is where I accidentally learned I can smash things with my great shield!

I rarely use my shield. I'm working towards a dual wield Blue Flame build. :o

Heh. I love shields. I was actually kind of surprised that I went right back to shield usage in Dark Souls 3, but I guess that had to do more with the fact that almost all the weapons in Bloodborne had a ridiculous swing range relative to most weapons in Dark Souls. That and no more rally attacks Q.Q I was heart broken, but ahh, whatever!

Shield of Want is best shield!

Idk why people hated DS2 so much. I miss what it did with Armor. Where armor actually made a difference, even to a caster.

WTB Lion Armor!

Armor makes a difference in DS3, it's just not a focus for upgrades.

I deeeeeeeeeeeestroyed Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, I don't know if I was over-leveled or it just worked out well for me but it's just about the easiest area I've had to deal with this game. Even the boss was a pushover, summoned an NPC to help and just blitzed him.

Dual maces are really powerful.

What level were you? Summoning an NPC makes any boss fight pretty easy in Dark Souls 3 anyways. The Pontiff wasn't that terrible for me (late 50's - early 60's), I totally destroyed him with my Zweihander.

I just beat the game earlier. The last 2 bosses I fought were really cool fights. Now to do that optional area that I missed altogether.

What level were you? It's easier depending on how you play and how strong you are etc. A lot of problematic things can be solved via killing the things there quickly.

Also, NPC summons for just about any boss make the boss pushover easy. I don't knock'em though, because I really like certain NPCs, and love seeing them fight.

Thought that the poise system in DS3 was just so low on the poise spectrum that it wasn't worth building for. Turns out they just turned it off in the data files, and PC players can turn it back on(but risk a ban or whatever).

Then I thought about it really hard, realized that all sorts of monsters haven't given a *** about my poise. Not even thieves with their butter knives. Desensitized to staggering due to Bloodborne. Ah well.

Armor in DS2 was really only important if you were a caster because of the cast speed bonuses. Otherwise it really wasn't a game changer.

DS3 has the most relevant armor in the series.

So, was the Covetus Demon in Earthen Peak in DS2 a joke? I feel like I'm going to regret killing it because it was a little too easy.

Get/respec to 99 str and powerstance smelter hammer and giant warrior club for some fun. It had a different moveset than 2 smelter hammers, although I don't remember if I tried powerstancing 2 giant warrior clubs together.

My last playthrough of DS2 I did a smelter hammer run, could only use it as a main weapon, but could use bows and magic, was pretty fun and challenging, even if it is OP damage wise.

I was driving this afternoon and thought a FF theme dark souls game would be neat. Run around killing monsters/enemies. Fight sephiroth with npc summon cloud >_>;
