I look forward to a lvl 700 claymore vs claymore round or two, see how you handle the weapon now.
I actually haven't played in a few weeks. :3
So I really don't have any more "skill" with it then I did before. IMO.
Depending on how you've geared your high level, I may or may not use it against you anyway.
Oh another set I use is when I want to troll the invader. I have a Dark Silver Tracer in my main hand and a Gold Tracer in my off-hand in light clothing. Once they come in close, I swap to a shield and attempt to parry. If I do, I swap my main hand to my sub which is a Demon's Greataxe and use that for a riposte. Hornet Ring included of course.
Oh and why are you in the 700s? I'm only around 632-638ish. No real reason for me to take my Attunement passed 50.

yeah I plan to sunlight blade it if you insist on high magic defense and dmb if you go with lightning defense. and I wanted all stats 99 for completionism and so when people would kill me they get 825k souls

mmmmkay... how did you end up with less defense at a higher level? Also, why were you having to remake characters?

Dark Souls 2 has been reviewed in the latest issue of German gaming magazine M! The write-up awarded From Software’s sequel 90%.
The Dark Souls 2 review was teased over on the M! site, and is due to appear in tomorrow’s issue. Subscribers appear to have it early however, and have revealed that the RPG netted a 90% score.
The write-up reads, “The hardest Action-RPG in the world. More convenient, gorgeous and extensive.”
By comparison, M! gave Demon’s Souls 82% and Dark Souls 81%. The game’s out March 11 in the States, then March 14 across Europe.

Although the trailer was a bit short, I liked it.
The voice was a bit too much lol, didn't fit the theme really, but the words are true enough.

What level and system is your favorite char?
Now that would be telling, if you want to fight the impossible, and to find me, it is not about death... but your endurance, I suggest killing every PC player at 700 until you find me.

Otherwise there would have been one the moment the game was announced. However, the name of the topic can still be edited.
We decided to keep it as Dark Souls, but if people would rather see something like Dark Souls (I & II) in the title I can do that.

I see. I clearly missed that.
But my suggestion is slightly different. It's to make a dedicated thread when the game is out.
I wonder at what page did that discussion happen. Because we're in the 131st page now, and if you want my opinion, once DS2 is out, it'll be more convenient for new players to know that the thread starts talking about Dark Souls 2 gameplay at page 1, instead of searching this thread.

Dark Souls 2 preorders are now twice as much as the original
Namco Bandai is now back to not confirming a PC release date, it was once down to a week after the console release but now it may be much later than that.
The Dark Souls 2 game engine was created for next gen in mind, but they have said that it won't come to PS4/Xbox1, however if they wanted to it would be easy to port over from the PC version to next gen consoles. My guess is they want sales on PS3 / X360 / PC before gaining more sales for the next gen systems. The publisher (Namco Bandai) probably has everything to do with this, not From Software themselves.

makes sense. it's like having ffx-hd made at release, but waiting so you can sell it to the same people twice. people who haven't adopted the new consoles, but like dark souls are sure to buy it again when they do upgrade. kinda lame, but it makes business sense.

Yea, and I personally don't mind that they are. They produce content worth buying so if they need a little more money coming in without making sacrifices in the game for it then it's fine by me.
If you want HD DS2 you're going to be playing it on PC anyways.
