A level 1 playthrough would be more interesting. It's also more fun.

Sure, the first playthrough is boring... but what about NG+ and NG++(+++)

Essentially you'll pretty much always use the same weapons/armor depending on your level. Since certain things always beat others depending on the combination of stats and what type of roll you want.
Majority of Dark Souls repertoire is useless really. Barring a few situational pieces. It's not that bad though Josi. If you can avoid getting hit in NG/NG+ you can avoid getting hit in NG+++. Shouldn't worry so much about what's most optimal, just pick a weapon you feel like using and have fun :P It's only useless if you make it useless!

I'm pretty sure things like the whips, clubs, and great weapons are useless when it comes to actually getting through obstacles. Not just roflstomping through because you are overleveled (which is fun too!).
Sacrificing a shield in order to use a great weapon just causes you to lose too much. Unless you are a really high level and can one-hand it :P. Accidentally wasted the titanite slab on heavy boots +10 /tableflip lol Yeah, I got a few lying around from past playthroughs. Need any more slabs or other materials too? I don't really have any use for any of that stuff anymore since I never need anything besides Giants, Havel's Hands, Big Hat, and Maiden Skirt. Which I've already maxed. Bahamut.Rulerofdarkness

Claymore isn't a great weapon you dork. At least you have since enough to put the shield on at times.. though it does make it obvious when you want to attack and when you want to defend/parry.

I'm at work. Though I wish I had brought my controller. We are dead as hell.
You get invaded by all the idiots. Why do I always get the smart ones/***. 8/10 times my invader either runs into 10+ mobs which hit hard as *** in NG+++, or uses a ***load of WotG. Like it's all he has set. Then there is that *** that flies up through the floor, hits you, then flies away. Edit~ I actually don't remember what playthrough I am on anymore. Been so long since I did any of the story I forgot. I know I have a character on NG++++++ but don't remember which system. Bahamut.Rulerofdarkness

I keep forgetting you only play your level 2. Where is your level 120 sun bro? Bahamut.Rulerofdarkness

So much tease. Stop teasing me and just give me the ability to preorder it already!
It's like Dark Souls porn without it being porn. Stock warning over Dark Souls 2 Black Armour & Collector's Editions
Special edition Dark Souls 2 stock running low, Namco warns. Namco Bandai UK has warned that stock of Dark Souls 2's Black Armour Edition and Collector's Edition is "running low", and that those who wish to receive either edition should pre-order now to avoid disappointment. Namco claims that copies of both editions are "flying off the internet shelf at an alarming rate" and that "fans must ensure their pre orders are put in place online now" to guarantee a copy. Dark Souls 2's Black Armour Edition features a metal case and the official soundtrack and comes at no extra cost to pre-order customers. The £75 Collector's Edition, meanwhile, features the Black Armour Edition content along with a 12" warrior knight figurine, authentic cloth map and collectible art book. Dark Souls 2 launches on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 14, 2014, with a PC version to follow at a later date. Bahamut.Rulerofdarkness

Or is this just relating to the PS3/Xbox360? :o
