So yeah, don't really care about these insane assumptions and braggarts. You can use magic weapons to bridge the gap to getting to the real good weaps.
Last night I bought a wand 780 DPS and 890 LoH for 50k, from the magic section. Also for any other melee wizards, this sheet has all kinds of info that I never knew existed, improved my build leaps and bounds just switching a skill or 2 and a few runes http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5149154265?page=1 Melee wiz lives! Also, monk =/= Barb 60% chance to dodge everything makes it pretty easy.

Three at a time seems a bit low for me and I can't ever find the actual gear that I want ; ;. On note to DH kiting stuff/facerolling. It is most defiantly not imo. As others said, it is a glass cannon that will die quickly if hit 3-4 times and no dodge happens and you have no discipline for smokescreen or any other tactical ability's. Anyway, Hyar#1552 if anybody wants to add. Valefor.Prothescar said: » Ragnarok.Kongming said: » Feel like I've pointed this out countless times now but, RMAH isn't a "cash shop", ala Korean, nay, "K-style" F2P. Blizzard isn't selling you goods. They've simply sanctioned the trading between players of goods and money, money here meaning either a) gold or b) real currency. D3 isn't even an MMO. I seriously don't know how to take your comment seriously at any level. Fundamentally she's right. It's bleeding obvious that the game is designed and balanced around items being shitty to get, so you're forced to buy them from the Ah or RMAH unless you want to spend a dozen years trying to get the drops yourself. You make it seem like Blizzard doesn't make any money off of those microtransactions that they have in on the RMAH. You snuck "Ah or" in the front of RMAH rather cleverly, which kind of defeats your argument. Yes, I've already bitched about the necessity of having to farm gold to play in inferno, but that in no way boils down to having to RMT ***to play in inferno. Inferno is a sore point for me in this game that I see as otherwise perfect, because while I appreciate the game not simply ending at the end of Hell like D2 did and providing an actual challenge, it is a challenge that revolves almost entirely around having almost the best possible gear. If that's the core of this argument, then it's about endgame sucking, not about D3 being a F2P game. Yes, Blizzard makes money off of every RM auction that sells, but what I don't like is equating that to a K-style MMO where "the next best thing" every month is in a shop for 7.99 coming directly from the game producers. And that in order for you to be effective in whatever game that is, you have to buy it. This just isn't the case. The argument could be made (as above) that you have to buy from the AH (non-RM) to succeed in the game, but the necessity of spending any real money doesn't exist, thus not satisfying the condition. I can see the comparison, but I disagree that it's a fundamentally accurate one. You can convincingly paint it in such a light only if you ignore the key factor that RM is an option, where in F2P it is generally considered mandatory. You only get 1 stat but if you just need something to bridge the gap it works I hate it when I try to search a helm with highest MF with a socket on it, the piece of ***search always come up with ***helms that already put a topaz inside that socket. It is annoying, but I've found the best way to find helms that actually have MF and a socket (regardless of what's in the socket if anything) is to search for helms with more MF than you could ever reasonably hope to find without there already being topaz in a socket. Usually I search for MF+25 or something, though the results I get are usually ridiculously expensive. lol but i alrdy spend $$ on other video games....ffxi sub for like 9 years straight and league D:

I played much more extensively yesterday than patch day. The rubberbanding is *** HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE now even though they said "they fixed it". Before it seemed like if I cut a corner too close or "shift clicked" to shoot on ranged classes I would ONCE IN AWHILE teleport 1-2 steps back. Last night all 4 of us (2 on same lan, two in seperate parts of country with different internet) were warping back 10-30 yards even walking in straight lines. Desecrator seemed to get a massive bump. Now instead of taking damage while on the circle (logical way) you take it for like 3 seconds after stepping off. Also, I don't know whether this is a desecrator/plague buff, or serenty nerf.... but instead of being completely immune to damage like smokescreen was (and serenity was before), I find myself taking all the damage serenity absorbs at once when it wears. Maybe this is a glitch but if I stand in mobs and take damage with serenity up i take a *** as soon as it wears (even if they all die long before it wears). WTF Oh and repair costs are dumb Ragnarok.Ashman said: » I played much more extensively yesterday than patch day. Ramuh.Rowland said: » So level 60 it's awesome, but 1-59 is questionable? It sounds odd but yes. Abilities and gear scale with level. Many of witch doctor skills seem low damage but theyre all "low damage over time". Similar to how nether tentacles would hit a monster twice or thrice, witch doctor skills hit many times a second. Couple that with a high dps weapon/offhand or 2 hand and it starts to add up fast. For example. Witch doctor throws out 10 jars (arbitrary number) of spiders with 4 spiders each before the first jar dies. If each hit is 3k damage (seems low) and you have 40 spiders over 10 seconds thats like 120k. Couple that with the grasp of the deads damage over time... some dogs.... a haunt/acid cloud etc etc. Basically the damage starts looking better as you level. I dont know about TANKING though. Pets in d3 seem way more squishy than d2. |
