Putting Uk'xkaj over Whirlpool in the max-tier accuracy set is a bit strange though.
Yeah that set isn't set up for maximum accuracy per slot, but the most efficient way of gaining a sufficiently high accuracy with minimal sacrifices. I'll make a separate set with every maximum accuracy piece possible for mix and match, but such a set in its entirety isn't necessary at the moment.

I may be wrong, but I would be surprised if Whirlpool is a less efficient swap than a couple of the others, such as Asperity.
It's actually an error on my part, ziel shouldn't be in there to begin with. It's an artifact from pre-skill update. Twilight belt shouldnt be in there either. In fact ideally you'd be using neither uk'uxkaj or whirlpool, but iuitl
There, added a set with every piece of BLU accuracy gear. thrown together quickly so legs and feet im not sure of. Also thanks to Slycer's work on BGWiki I have a range of stats to work with for Izaatsu +1, so can start adding it in at some point. Bismarck.Mankey said: » Used a +1 stone. Just finished getting my 5/5 WKR wins, and i'm not sure which piece of gear to choose. Ukuxkaj cap seems to have some edge over iuitl for casting physical spells, but iuitl seems better for tp and WS if it isnt crit based. Tamaxchi looks to have some interesting uses, being able to maintain decent dps, while having a huge boost to curing and magical spells w/o losing tp. Buremte gloves look decent to equip for acc set if needed and cures.
In short, which item from WKR second quest would be best for blu? Offline

I love to go back and get the cap the burmete hands and cap combo are very very nice. I can't get the cap to drop for me have most of the drops and quite a few pebbles >.>...
Buremte gloves offer the most in my opinion. Amazing for spells, PDT, cures, highest acc in the hand slot... all around very solid. Tamaxchi is nice, but not as useful in my eyes.

It took me a few wins to get my gloves I should have waited longer to see how the gear was gonna shape out but opted for the ixtab before the delve gear had any CS even on the test server really my bad lol... Are you guys subbing BLM to land Absolute Terror on delve NMs, or just rolling with a magic accuracy set? I remember one being posted not too long ago but I went back 10ish pages and couldn't find it, and I don't know if it would even be useful considering new gear that's been added since.
when I was doing the tiers in Foret I went Blu/blm to use elemental seal to make sure it does land and then swap subs back and forth to reset ES. at least 2-3 blue mages in alliance doing it to terror-lock the NM
Needs something else besides DEX :|!

Is there a spell set section for delve nm.? My linkshell has killed shark and tojil and we are currently on the Bee. We don't have the ranger firepower and have been trying various party set ups. I am asked to come on blue. Is there particular spells that are a must for the nms a and Bee?
Blue/war best sub or should I try /thf for SA from a disstance? Any help would be nice, next event is Monday. Offline

Absolute terror works wonders on delve nms as well with the right amount of macc I really try not to cast to much else really during combat. Just buffs between mobs like magic barrier or even saline coat to help not take so much magic damage. That whole Hagondes set looks amazing for Sanguine Blade as well other sets. Your inventory will rejoice :)

Iuitl Headgear doesn't beat Thuarandaut for TP? Iuitl has 7% haste and 2% triple attack. Can be augmented with up to 3% double attack too.

Outside of looking like a flasher, mixing and matching hagondes, ituil and mani gets some interesting results when it comes to attribute boosting:
This was just mixing whirlpool mask with Hagondes body and feet with Ituil hands and legs. There is a JP dev post this morning stating that in the fall update, on top of adding new blue magic spells, they're also going to further the BLU iLevel adjustments such that the "combat skill +" parameter of the equipped main weapon also increases the attack power of Physical Blue Magic.

ItemSet 300240 So for the max tier set, if you're outside of Ionis areas, what changes need to be made to the set? You can make up 1% haste with Iuitl hands which is a solid increase* in DPS even if you don't have an augment but for that last tiny bit, is it even worth changing gear to cap haste? Hasty pinion, Tiercel or Xux Trousers all end in DPS decreases*. And the only situation I found where Thurandaut isn't the best hat to wear is if you only have DW2. *I'm terrible at spread sheeting so correct me if I'm wrong here but this was the case in the situations I tested. On bg some are leaning to iuitl head actually:

If I swap out thaumas body to hagondes for defensive stats/refresh, that leaves me at 24%. Without outside buffs, am I better off using twilight belt to cap haste or sticking with windbuffet in that case? Also, are af1 body/af3 legs still worth using for physical spells? Prothescar;5868561 said: Sticking to this at the moment myself: Thurandaut chapeau/Asperity necklace/Brutal earring/Suppanomimi Thaumas coat/Nomkhapa mitts/Rajas ring/Epona's ring Atheling mantle/Twilight belt/Iuitl tights/Manibozho boots Not sure what the "good" augments on Iuitl are, haven't seen it mentioned. If the hands can get DA then Nomkhapa can be replaced. The 5% dual wield should be capable of edging out the additional 1QA and 2TA by a small amount with just self buffs. doctorugh;5869454 said: The Iuitl head has +2 TA on it also, so the comparison is: 4 TA, 1QA, 5STR, 6DEX (+any aug, its ez to get 7 att or acc on NQ)vs 2DA 5 DW and 10 acc Moving from 30% DW to 35% is a 7.7% increase in total damage if you ignored the fact that it will affect your TP return. And 2 DA (when sitting at roughly 1.5 multiattack per round) is a 1.33% total damage increase. 4TA and 1QA is roughly a 7.3% increase in total damage. I'm thinking its a bit of a "push" either way, but personally the added PDT, defense and reduction in inventory space works for me. I'm sad to loose my magikarp hat either way but I'd much rather wear the Iuitl for the defensive stats.
I doubt I'll see a capped augment anytime soon though. I don't have the gil to blow through +2 stones on every piece. I assume this is comparing T hat and twilight belt vs Iuitl and windbuffet? Offline

It was a response to the gear set posted above in Prothescar quote to fantasticdan which didn't carry over when I quoted it from bg with reply quote lol. Fixed above...
You can spend a ton and get screwed by SE RNG I spent a 1 mil on +1 stones and would get trolled with 1 pdt >.> augs like really. +2 stones are 1 mil ish I just need to do more yorcia for the stones cause my wallet can't take that bleep. kenshynofshiva said: » On bg some are leaning to iuitl head actually: Quote: fantasticdan;5868508 said: My current tp set is: hurkan cap/asperity/suppa/brutal thaumas/iuitl/rajas/eponas atheling/windbuffet/iuitl/iuitl which is exactly 25% haste. I'm thinking its a bit of a "push" either way, but personally the added PDT, defense and reduction in inventory space works for me. Does this take into account the extra TP you get per hit from not having 10% DW? It looks to me this is purely a white damage arguement and I would assume 0.4% White damage could be beaten by 10% more ws frequency ~ I'll need to look at the full DPS spreadsheets I guess and make a full decision. In light of what prothescar said though, if this is with just BLU buffs, then you would also be self healing I assume, thus making the PDT more useful as you would use less time curing and increasing your DPS in that respect ~ Theorectical BLU vs Real life experience BLU can't be estrapolated from a DPS spreadsheet if you don't factor in Damage taken, level of mob, solo or in group, whether you have hate etc ~ which is very difficult to do on the numerous monsters in game and their wide variance of stats. Everything is situational for the most.
This is the greatest read cause if true oh happy day for blu are here again... Slycer;5873540 said: Matsui: Blue Magic Adjustments Hello, it's Matsui. I wanted to speak a bit about adjustments to blue magic. In the July version update, we updated physical blue magic so that D value of the spells was dependent on the combat skill+ present on the main weapon. However, the development team believes that we need to further adjust the power of blue magic spells. Based on this, in the fall version update, we will make additional adjustments to physical blue magic so that the attack value rises with the combat skill+ value present on the main weapon. Additionally, we also plan to add new blue magic in the fall version update. We will talk some more about the new blue magic spells once we are at a stage where we can give you all of the details. Seeing it just brings tears to my eyes... Offline

Is a DA+2 augment assumed on iuitl legs for the max tier TP set?
