Making Gil

Do dyna. Solo if you have to, otherwise find a good duo partner. My duo partner and I are pulling in around ~500 coins a day and 35-45 forgottens, so it's about 2.2-2.3M each.

Salvage can also be decent gil too if you have a mule for third/don't have to split alex too many ways.

We sold quite a bit of abyssea drops back in the day, but now that it's been around for awhile I've found demand has kinda gone down a bit.

Fishing can be good I think, but I'm not a fisher so I can't really say =(

Chocobo blinkers are decent too - although honestly I found it so mind-numbing that if I was gonna sell cruor, I'd probably just sell stacks of cells.

couple things here, have more gear on your thf would increase your kill speed thus increasing your gil over time through drops,

moss is probably on his server even at least 20k/stack ah,

and you got ripped off bad on that savory shank, can sell those 9-10mil easy.

I'm not disputing the fact that most Linkshell Banks have been run by shady morality, but to project an absolute label is to perpetuate your own ignorance; try to be a little more open minded, because as it happens - contrary to popular belief - there are actually people who play this game that do in fact have a notable, ethical inclination.

People who exploit and extort will continue to do so, despite the circumstances that they do it in - differing concepts may present easier means to achieve nefarious gains, but ultimately, it's people who orchestrate the notion - not the other way around.

I never said it was needed, but having one that is run by someone who is responsible isn't a bad thing, either.

To avoid confusion, I'm leaning more towards a Gil Pot scenario; having a "reserve fund" is fairly redundant at this point, I completely agree, because really the only thing that comes to mind would be Legion, and the entry fee is minimal when split.

I hear stealing LS banks is a good way to get gil also.

This is where I disagree; like you mentioned, a lot of the "big ticket" items (Meteor, Marrows, and what have you) are both distributed to members and sold (in my Linkshell, as an example). Emphasis is placed not so much on consistent, monetary gain, but rather the fact that everyone is gaining something in some capacity. If anything, it's a morale booster that strengthens the ties of the roster. I've made just under 32m in several months from Gil Pot pay-outs, simply from doing day-to-day events, so I'm not about to go against the system (because it's in the right hands).

Best ways I've found. Dyna daily. 200 pieces average for a solo is rly nice gil. Garudite farming. Very simple. Just go to grauberg S and fight the decent challenge sappling. Voidwatch is nice too. If you are just after gil, don't trade cells, and you will make almost 80k cruor a run, which converts to about 200k gil almost. And you have the chance to get metals and other things too. You can also just xp, that gives decent cruor and requires no effort lol. You can also farm NM popsets in abyssea for empyrian items. People buy them like candy.
