All jokes aside, it is a sad day. I grew up hearing the Beastie Boys on the radio, never truly a fan, but I did love Paul Revere. That song can make anyone smile...

I don't know if this was directed towards me or someone else, but I meant no disrespect to MCA's death in my post. It was my way of celebrating his life. And I think he was the head honcho. Wasn't a fan, but I thought their work was amusing to listen to. They were better than what we have now, really...
Spent 12 years bouncing every major concert in Atlanta. After seeing so many great bands, I must say, the Beastie Boys were one of my favorite groups to see.
I was not originally a fan, but they won me over. Great live show, great performers, they gave 100% to their fans.

They were great live! Saw them in Dallas in 2004ish, if I remember correctly.
