I was just ignoring the other guy and was asking you about the cheese sandwich forum to 1.) get off the subject (albeit as you said it was ... tactless to say the least in how I worded it *damn grammar*) 2.) was legit in asking how that went. I was bored and yes I started what I thought was a sort of friendly teasing Kali manner, to it coming off being read as different to say the least.

Demons's Souls is overrated fluff because it's such a niche game. The only people who really talk about it, is the small group it caters to, and any time a rare person who didn't like it speaks out, they get yelled off the planet because they're a "Stoopid noob and not a reel gamer." never mind that Demons Souls and Dark Souls both have some heavy design issues independent of the merciless difficulty curve.

I'm not sure what FromSoftware was thinking with Developer Sanctioned griefing. If anything, shutting off the online features makes Demon's Souls playable.

So there isn't any set date for the servers to turn off now? I might actually get a PS3 just to play this game then .-. I am loving dark souls so much right now it would be nice to play this one as well.

If ever there were a good reason to buy a ps3, Demon's Souls is one for sure.

While this is great news, It kinda sucks that they announce it less than a week after my Save Data got corrupted on my two NG++ characters...

ATLUS is an amazing publisher. I don't think I've ever played one of their games and been disappointed. Replaying Digital Devil Saga 1-2 right now.

I'm not sure if demon souls players enjoy dark souls, but as someone who didn't play demon souls I really, really enjoy it.

After I beat the game I want to try playing it in NG+ but dropping my gear and starting over completely again (won't drop everything at first, just in case it becomes too difficult).

Really love how the game lets you play, it's very cool. I enjoy it more than skyrim honestly, but when the DLC comes out that might change.

Glad to hear you liked it :) you might have a rough time in NG+ if you don't carry over gear though :p

I recently lucked out and found Yggdra's Union and Knights in the Nightmare for psp for maybe 15 bucks for both. I think just about the only Atlus game I haven't been overly thrilled with was Cursed Crusade, and even it was a semi-decent game by normal standards.

I felt that a lot of things were too easy, everything died too fast and nothing really has giving me much trouble.

I know everything basically doubles in stats and health, so I think it would be cool playing NG+ with no gear just like before XD

No I haven't, I really don't look at games much unless I know they are very good.

Games are too expensive to just look around at and buy something that you end up not enjoying like you thought you would. Dark souls was way more than I expected, I loved that it surprised me like that.

I'm the same, Dragon's Dogma is pretty much Monster Hunter + Skyrim + Dark Souls, it really surprised me how much I like it. The pawn system is fantastic.

This guy's video sold me on the game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrCiV4LOYk4 but I wasn't expecting anything spectacular.. I was pleasantly surprised once I actually played it.

Atlus make my second favorite RPG series ever. Persona. If you've never played a persona game, you're really missing out. The first one was awesome, though the psp remake for it, might not have been so hot. It was originally a PS1 game, but the psp remake actually changed one character from black to a white kid. Found that kind of odd.

The secret to making demons/dark souls easy. Just grind grind grind exp and upgrade a weapon of choice. Both games are two of the greatest games ever made. There is nothing else like it out there. Dark souls I felt was a little bit harder than demons as the healing was much harder to come by but the bosses were amazing. Still have to go back and finish the last few bosses myself.

I recommend dragons dogma as well. It's like a hybrid game off of demons/dark souls with more of an open world game added to it. I don't feel it's better than demons and dark but it's still pretty good for what it is.

Dark Souls is coming for pc very soon. it will a lot enjoyable than ever

dragons dogma has no plot, no characters, no good quests, and great combat. Super average.

This kinda sold Dragons Dogma to me, though @1:05Like Monster Hunter.

Except not as good.

hardware speaking. the old ps3's have the same flaw as all of the 360's : shitty solder and poor heat management, I can't say for the new ps3 as I haven't researched it or cracked one open.

but 360's do die faster.

on another note: I've never heard of most of these games...
