Diablo III Release Date Announced!

Been in the beta since November; sadly there's only like half of one act so it gets tired fast. It's definitely ready for release.. I can't believe it's actually not coming out sooner.

I think the player to player auction house using real currency is a really good idea, honestly. I sold an estimated $2k in D2 goods on eBay back before they even had policies banning such auctions. Since then it's degraded to places like playerauctions and egs where more and more people get scammed, and there's more and more overhead just because of the risk involved. Streamlining it is like the real world equivalent of legalizing marijuana. It's just obvious and very welcome.

That and guildwars2 will kill a lot of subs from previous mmos, ffxi is showing low population already on all servers , another merge inc! , ffxi will end up like warhammer or lineage2 with very few servers
