As long as you were wearing more than one piece of AF3+2, and your value (880) is still within the bounds of a triple attack critical hit from Coruscanti (notice that I've seen a max of 193-195 from anomalous Coruscanti crits with no critical attack bonus outside of what DNC naturally gets), we can only assume it was a triple attack set bonus, especially after the data I've collected.

It's much more likely that you just missed it.

cant miss the chat log. ive got 1 screenshot of the coruscanti proc'ing. and sadly my mandau proc'd in the same attack round. however it still wasnt a set proc from triple attack.
You can miss the chatlog. There can be lag and things can not line up properly. Processed hits can miss.

well check out my ss on guildwork if you can and maybe you can see what i mean?
can you link it? right click, copy image url and post it here.
Anomaly data minimum of 71 damage indicates cRatio cannot be higher than 1.971. Along with no data points above 123, can be pretty certain that level correction is factored in.

The one at the bottom of the previous page, vs T buffalo: http://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/29329/coruscanti-testing/7/#1796371 Edit: Eep, misnoted min as 71 when it was 78. Did math for 78, though, so all good. Are you sure you're not using slips of where attacks got through as I was recasting defender?
I'll probably have to redo that one, to be honest.
Attack with Defender down would be 532, which gives a cRatio of 0.971
Max damage with 0.971 cRatio would be approximately 65. Max damage with Defender would be 53. So the 54-59 damage hits were when Defender slipped; however the 78+ damage values are all safely outside that range, and are fine for measuring the limits of the effect. Offline

You really are dedicated to playing your job to the best of your abilities, aren't you Sylow? I'm sure all the other dagger users greatly appreciate this thread. 8 pages of almost nothing but data/math/and logical/reasonable speculation is impressive. Oh and fahkyu. He was funny.
I should have known you'd take it into account, but I guess it doesn't hurt to double check!
Also, I was forgetting that I was using uncapped fSTR, so the low values seemed weird to me ^^;
Sylow, here's the image you requested from Fahkyu, found it off the site he referenced.
Well, I thought it was the first hit of an attack round. That said, without knowing what filters are up, I can't tell what's going on.
...it looks like misses are filtered?
>Mercy Stroke
I thought he said he wasn't using Mandau? We can't tell whether it's triple damage from Mandau or not, that way. I couldn't tell what was going on either. I have considerably less experience with this than you.
Misses might be filtered, however we'd need confirmation. I believe that it is possible to go through that much of a chat log with no misses, or would the be too much of an assumption? Edit: Doesn't the triple damage from Mandau only proc on the first hit of an attack round? My only problem is there's a Mercy Stroke there, meaning that Mandau is in main hand; Meaning those numbers could very well be Mandau triple damage.
Quote: Edit: Doesn't the triple damage from Mandau only proc on the first hit of an attack round? Right. Also, we have no idea what atmas or gear sets are being used and that could play into the crit calculation. Very ambiguous and unhelpful really...
Edit: Reading back, he never said he wasn't using his Mandau. What it seems he meant to say was that his Mandau was lvl75 so he doesn't believe that the damage came from his Mandau triple damage bonus. What he said was just misunderstood. Offline
