Hello,

I am in need of creating a new forum for my social shell. I wanted to see if anyone could suggest a useful free forum that doesn't spam you with ads. I'm partial to Phpbb so a forum based on that would be desired.

v-bulletin is a type of forum software iirc. So that's not really a forum hosting site, and if it was it wouldn't be phpbb.

Why PHPbb ?_?

MyBB is a lot better as far as free scripts go.

http://www.createmybb3.com/freemybbhosting.php for hosting, though if you can, get some webspace (http://awardspace.com/) and run your own scripts.

Our current forum host apparently thought it would be funny to delete all members from our forums. @_@

-edit- Ooh. Just got in, apparently it was just a glitch.... fun time having everyone freak out (mostly me). ^^;
