I'm trying to fish in Qufim Island at the north shore, but there's that god awful mist. Now, usually my PC is very good at handling FFXI and its oddities but that mist lags me like CRAZY. Is there any known way, through .dat modification or something, that I can get rid of it? Thanks ^_^

Slower frame rate actually makes fishing easier I find.

cant you just turn off weather effects and have that disappear?

I already have weather effects off and it's still there.
