I followed the info given and it all worked for me on windows 7, no plugins used but the bare basics.

you could try unloading all windower plugins and seeing if it functions then
So it's either TParty, Distance, or Timestamp causing the problem. Time to make sure they're at the latest version.

Nevermind. It just delayed the crash by about 30 seconds. No plugins running.

Edit to include the crash text.

Bit more progress. One of the other issues was that it would not reopen after crashing unless I shutdown FFXI. I found a forum post that mentioned deleting the log file, and it worked. Now I can load the program back up, and continue with it as normal.

So far it hasn't crashed again. (It seems to always crash after the first login when I choose a char. Log deletion didn't change that part)

Edit: 25 minutes later still no additional crash. Even tested out the Pricer plugin. If it's just the initial load that crashes, I can handle that.

Moglification doesn't add any skill beyond the +1 of Moghancement.

Ukon 90 vs Rag 95 (soon to be 99) for war

I know MS zerg/fodder Rag wins easily, and I know Rag war does really well in Legion as well.

What about stuff like VW/Provenance?

I wouldn't think so. From what I can gather there is a specific list of buffs that are transferable via Empathy. You can look at the list here on BGWiki.

Edit: Read the thread backwards, doh. There's a lot of discussion about this in the Upheaval Thoughts thread in the WAR forum.

What's the best way to do this in spellcast:

Basically, I have a Dark Magic set. A precast piece for fast cast and a couple Dark Magic skill+ pieces including the Bale +2 legs. I want it to change back to Calmecac if I'm engaged, but Blood Cuisses if I'm idle. Don't know how to write that.

Probably just need to spam fan dance with a hybrid evade/haste set. Why would you want this item on Dnc though?

The better question would be, why dnc 75.

There will be a ton of variables in there, not the least of which is the delay of your great katana. I would suggest using Claquesous' site to explore gear options, and consider downloading ffxi calc to figure out TP build if you're making an x-hit.

Ooh, I like how that site gives alternatives to certain pieces. I assumed there would just be some general sets I could aim for though because atm SAM0.. :x
