If you are cheating, and put them all on same SE account, any character getting banned will get them all banned. But, the payment system's fraud verification may give you trouble paying for many different SE accounts with the same method.

If you're mostly legit and not worried, it's more convenient to have them on the same SE id for billing. You can play them at the same time.

You can do that, if you think it's worth while

Are we still on/talking about jadagnas (was that you?)

You can t1 jadagna without dropping your main craft, I outlined how to do it... i think even more than once lol (that was months ago though, now that you're ON the quest to make the 5 it would involve a week+ time sink to do)

Quote:
2018-08-13
Gold 110 + shield + glasses + apron
Leather 70 + support + torque + gloves + hide stretcher
(disable gold stall)

Well, a short time later, after some previous preparation (farmed the gloves and neck, camped AH for some jadagnas when available, aht urghan ingot), i decided to finish this quest tonight.

As i screwed slightly as i just completed the craftmanship on my shield leaving me with -13% sucess, i decided to just earn one leathercraft lv. So 109 gold, 71 leather, gloves neck suport for lv77 leather and stall, glasses and apron for 116 gold.

I had a very lucky streak and finished the 5 HQs in 11 tries.

Now, next step. thanks.

I’m trying to do a crafting shield (bone) and confused at the crafting kits. Should I just get the one with the simplest recipe? And do I throw these kits out after I’m done with them? I can trade the ones I make back for CP except the one I bought

If you are making crafting kits for crafting points, you'll want to make the highest level one that you can that has ingredients you can get from NPCs (guild npcs, sparks npc, etc). You'll need to make a shitload of kits and you'll be punching yourself in the face if you pick a recipe that you can't just make from NPCable ingredients

No, once you craft the kit you need to give it to the npc to earn the points. Then you lose the kit but it becomes available to the server to purchase for skills.

Every higher lv kit will result on more points on average. Ive been working with lv70~80 kits due availability of mats. Ive been working with an estimative of 60 crafter points per crystal (450 guild points)

For bone, though, i use coral fragment x2 when available as they are kinda abundant, then the lv90, dragon talon x2 bettle jaw as i can purchase dragon talon from mog garden. This recipe is super expensive but i do anyway.

It seems that I can't trade the base kit back to the NPC, do I have to finish crafting all the kits before I am able to do so?

You shouldn't be buying kits. They are for people trying to skill up.

You make sets and trade them to the crafting points npc to get crafting points for buying shield mats. The kits become available for people trying to level the craft. You do not need to buy any to make a shield, and if you bought any they are effectively worthless to you.

To raise your markmanship you have 2 different approaches: 1. You do vanilla way and meet the objectives given for faster points or 2. You ran any repeating addon, buy the cheapest recipe available and leave it afking spamming /lastsynth. Markmanship points, despite stage, always gives you some points for Hqing. That mean, using any recipe thats below 51 lvs from your current skill lv will result in the highest probability of Hq, thus, markmanship points.

okay i understand, in order to lvl up shield i should just do easy recipes and for CP points i should just pick a kit that i can get mats easily whether or not npc or i decide to throw gil at it

Look, i use the second option given, so i would buy 38 stacks of wind crystal, 38 stacks of bone chips, and repeat a script that first sell bone hairpin then use /lastsynth, regardless of shield stage. Can finish in few hours for all stages but the last. In the last stage, i estimate having to run 38 stacks wind and bone chip like 7 times, but eventually even this stage can be done this path

You can. Just takes a whole lot longer than the previous stages. Like i said, if repeating bone hairpin you will need to repeat bone hairpin recipe like 3000 times. If you dont run a third party program this path will be horrible and you can see its reasonable to look up at objectives.

For markmanship points?

I would just ran overnight bone hairpin anyway. As this stage dont have -suçess rate, could craft kits till i get the necessary 70k points for the mats. Though you will need to get to 100% asap because you need to craft sphere so yeah, 3000 bone hairpin would be my route.

Trying to get my macros working for Diffusion -> Mighty Guard using relic boots. Do the boots have to be on when casting Mighty Guard or something? Don't seem to work when I just have them on when using Diffusion.

Simple fix for that. It doesn't scale with Skill.

sets.midcast['Mighty Guard'] = set_combine(sets.midcast.SIRD, {feet="Luhlaza charuqs +1"})

or even more simply:

sets.midcast['Mighty Guard'] = {feet="Luhlaza charuqs +1"}

What are you guys using your Odr Earring for?
Things that come to mind to me:

MNK
Shijin (Sherida/Odr)
Vsmite (Sherida/Odr, yes, in place of Moonshade TPbonus)

RUN
Dimidiation (Odr/Moonshade)???

THF/DNC
Evisceration (Sherida/Odr, again, in place of Moonshade)
Rudra (Odr/Moonshade)???

BLU
CDC (Mache+1/Odr)???

I'm a bit unsure with the question marks.
Would Odr beat Sherida or Mache+1 for Rudra?
Should I put Brutal somewhere in my CDC set?
What about lolDimidiation? Sherida and/or Mache+1 somewhere there?

Either gates zones or reisenjima if you can kill them with good speed. Escha zitah should be accessible too.
