Sorry noob poster here, this is in reference to the Crafting item reward from the Mumor event quest.

I think other rewards do take priority. I did the quest 4-5 times (cannot remember exactly) and I got the KI for the after party last. The crafting material was second to last. I just kept going until I only got fireworks reward.

Does Stun count as a status ailment? With the Volte Jupon set, is it possible to achieve 100% stun resist?

What about terror?

Resist Status works for Stun (though Resist "Status" potency is halved on NMs), but not for Terror. The only resist traits that works on terror are the ones that specifically say Resist Terror on them.

Previously there were people that got them, but the rate is incredibly low. obviously

Super old screen shots, 10k from one of them in 2015

You other asurans feel like they might've ninja'd something in with unity chat? or something else going on lol

I feel like I'm getting into chat quite a bit more than usual. Could simply be the amount of people on, just seems weird to actually see the *** chat. Yoran, specifically, of course.

I'm not talking about people chatting, i'm talking about actually being ALLOWED in the chat.

This is literally only an asuran thing, but there are so damn many people, 100% of the time you're not allowed in the chat.

Nope. Yoran oran on Bismarck is the same. Always has been.

Really? Theres enough accounts to make that happen? How damn small is unity chat... 100?

Probably something like that. Wouldn't be surprised if it's using Linkshell coding and even more restricted. I start seeing Yoran's being full on weekends and stuff when there are more JP players on too, but on Leviathan that only really means ~500 people on.
Not usually a problem on weekday nights where it floats more around 300.
Whatever the limit is, it's too low for having most players in the same three useful ones.

It's possible you're logging in more often because people deliberately moved mules and things to lesser-used Unities to do the Silver voucher ROE.

Is the creater/maintainer of ffxi calculator still around/active?

Do they visit this site? answer emails?

I'd like to get them to add a small (awesome) change;

In the skillchains tab, dagger(thf) dagger(dnc) dagger(brd) etc would be awesome. Trying to find a skillchain, but it's always showing PK and MR because it doesn't specify that you're a THF not a DNC/BRD/COR etc

-OR- ability to turn OFF specific weaponskills (not Mythic category, but PK MR specifically)

Unless you're only using Lionheart, you definitely want 5/5.

Occ. grants dmg. bonus based on TP +5% means you have a 5% chance for TP to modify your atk. Meaning if you sit at 300tp your attacks will do 4x the regular dmg 5% of the time

at 100% tp it adds 2x dmg (100%+100%)
at 200% tp it adds 3x dmg (100%+200%)

Damage, apparently

Wait...does that mean if you tp or nuke in this at 3000 tp you have 5% chance to do 300% white or nuke damage?

7 years ago, that's what was the agreed upon consensus was. (I guess, the conversation didnt go much beyond question:answer)

If you did physical attacks 100~110

You would do 400~440 @ 3k tp
300~330 @ 2k
200~220 @ 1k

Not a single clue about anything that isn't a melee swing (ranged attacks, nukes, QD)

"That's amazing why don't we use that as our aug!"

Math wizard; something something white damage is minimal compared to ws damage, the gain in ws damage dwarfs the gain in white damage, there are very good tp options and very few ws options, we generally don't hold tp etc

*This doesn't mean that it is ACCURATE, just that the option was never fully explored, and time/gear has changed, while no one has ever bothered to re-investigate.

The general consensus is that TP bonus is just too good to give up. But I have some ideas that just popped if it work on all types of damage, not just WS.

So....probably on my to-do list.

It could use some tactical investigation.

Things like mainhand only? Can proc only once per attack round? Does/Doesn't work on nukes/QD/Ranged? Does relic proc/Emp proc stack?

An Empyrean double damage proc, 3x damage earring set could do some nasty stuff. In theory. At that time, empyrean weapons didn't really exist (neither did relics for the most part)
