Quote: remembe when you get lvl 40 you can quest artifact katanas to use until you get lvl 50 Kawar,u said katanas with a s i thought i only get one question from that quest. you get skillups on both hands, be it same weapon or not.
yes actually you get 2 af 1 weapons for nin (both katanas) but you can skill up 2 different weapons simultaneously.
Blue Mage - Diffused Orcish Counterstance - useful?
Duration is far too short.

1) Atmacites for DDs? I don't expect to be going as DD to VW...well, at all, really, but I want to have atmacites ready just-in-case. Although the DDs I'm most comfortable on are THF and DNC, I'm assuming I'd likely be going as MNK, or possibly RNG once I finish skilling it. 2) Which NMs that drop Wieldance Coins and Voyage Jewels are most easily solo-able? I'd be doing this on DNC or BST, probably. 3) Does anyone have a good macro set for BRD? NOT Spellcast xml -- I'm looking for something like the Scholar Macro Guide. I can partly answer 2 for you. Briareus drops Voyage Jewels and is easily soloable as DNC.

Sorry I always mage it up in VW, so no DD atmacites 2. Coin of Wieldance from IC Executioner in Vunk. You can solo on dnc, but be prepared for amnesia. BST might be better. 3. I have my brd macros set up similarly, but don't have it mapped out like the guide and am at work atm. Coercion for regain, Dark Designes/Latitude for tp bonus, Valiant for allaround stats. A very general overview, then you'll have to ask for specific jobs for the best combos.

If I was going to convert one of Motenten's Spreadsheets into a WHM one for DD which would be the easiest to convert?
I'm thinking Ninja, but not 100% sure. Odin.Taes said: » With a OAT GS on DRK, is Pole Grip still a good grip option, or should I change it to something else? Duplus Grip is better but considering the striking lack on info on it, it's probably a legion item. Sylph.Nikia said: » Finishing up WotG soon and not sure what to augment for moonshade. I have MNK NIN BLU and recently playing SMN a bit. MNK NIN BLU are my main loves however. I was thinking either Att/Regain and use on MNK? Or MP/Refresh and us on BLU SMN? Or is there any options I havent considered, like TP bonus or others? Any insight would be nice. Thank you kindly. TP Bonus. Sources of refresh are more abundant than ever. Regain earring is never a good decision, arguably maybe OK if the only job you ever play is RNG or COR or something. TP Bonus is basically best in slot for things like Chant Du Cygne, Requiescat, Victory Smite, etc. Refresh earring is okay if you only play mage jobs, but who does that? Odin.Taes

Maybe I should change my question to what grip should I use that people know how to get. :P Thank you for taking the time to respond, though.
Maybe if mages had issues with mp anymore.
Regain is really underwhelming, tp bonus is priceless!

If you have a drk dps spreadsheet you might be able to toss some options in there and see what it does. I'm not a drk so I dunno how accurate my drg info would be but some contenders might be Sword Strap(provided it doesn't break your hit build) and Claymore Grip. You don't have a huge amount of DA but the OAT weapon might devalue DA to a point where Crit rate is better? /Bad at maths. Phoenix.Sehachan said: » Regain is really underwhelming, tp bonus is priceless! Yeah, I keep forgetting about Last Stand. So really, it would only be useful for COR assuming you never use Last Stand. Well regain would be used to replace the +9 attack earring, i know a 5attack loss just didnt know if regain was worth it. Refresh i can see being usefull for idle set for BLU SMN(pet or no pet) For TP bonus I dont use Vere, like my Spharai so not sure if earring for just 1 WS is still worth it. Not trying to argue with anyone just wanted to give little more info. I am grateful for the advice. As far as BLU goes, between Battery Charge, and the 4 MP refresh I already have in my idle set, I'm never hurting for MP. I just can't see refresh earring being very useful, considering it only works when unengaged. |
