Where can I store lv 45 Salvage gear, if anywhere? Porter slip 1 didn't work and I'm afraid this horny cat in WG only accepts stuff to upgrade it.
SE really needs to add it to the description.

SE really needs to add it to the description. When can a Double Attack "proc" on a WS? For example, say I Hexa Strike, do I roll a "chance to DA" on every hit of Hexa Strike (until I hit 8 hits of course), or will it only proc on the main hit on each hand (if dual wielding)?
Thanks! You have two chances to proc DA/TA/QA per weaponskill as long as you remain within the 8 hit cap.

Yeah, I saw that on BG Wiki and it implied to me that it would be on any hit on the WS. Glad to know I got the right train of thought going than. I guess this leads me a rather awkward question. If I were to Realmrazer (7 hit WS) while dual wielding (making an automatic 8-hit), and use a Brutal Earring in my WS set, would I be able to potentially proc a DA on the main hand hits and override the offhand hit? Practicality withstanding ATM, is it even possible for the game to override that hit on the off-hand with a DA/TA/QA? I ask because my train of thought is "Hey, I can proc a DA on my main hand, which in turn cause my 8th hit to have a higher base weapon damage, therefore increasing my damage! And I like the odds of proccing a DA on a seven hit WS!" Which has lead me to this particularly strange multi-hit question. Thanks for any help I can get on this ^^;... Unquantifiable since a DA is the same as an offhand hit outside of an offhand hit using the offhand's base damage rather than mainhand. I suppose if you use a really low damage offhand it might be testable, but it isn't worth it.

Good to know, thanks for the quick responses .^^ Actually I'm trippin, TP return would be different also and in hindsight this has probably already been tested. It's a sort of silly situation though, and 99% certain that it doesn't happen in practice.

It's a sort of silly situation though, and 99% certain that it doesn't happen in practice. The TP return point was something I'd figure would be tested before as well, that's why I figured at this point in time, someone might've noticed something odd about WS's capping at 8-hits (like Asuran Fists giving weird TP returns from it's inception because of the fact is is naturally a 8-hit WS and you'd get 9 hits if you added your off-hand hit). But yeah, I agree, it is a bit silly. Was wondering more if I could feasibly put in a Brutal Earring into my WS set and increase that 8th hit from 52 base damage (or 11 damage if off handing a KClub) to 79 damage on the mainhand for a little extra umph on the WS phase. Still, I do appreciate the discussion. ^^ Can you use the Gear Collector windower plugin if you're not using Spellcast?
You do not need to use spellcast, but you do need to have a spellcast file with the proper job name.
Is there any way to get the + dmg from holy bolts to actually be good?
I tried straight MAB atma, stacking mind, beyond various other things, but the most I saw was +120 light dmg. Can Mandau's x3 dmg proc and Thf's af3+2 set proc stack on the first hit of a triple attack?

What's Ode of Life Bestowing like nowadays at 99? I remember the 75 fight to be fairly challenging, but I can only assume that it's able to be soloed or dual boxed nowdays. Do you think Almace/Ochain PLD could solo, or maybe with a WHM alt?
Yes for sure, its very easy to solo now on quite a few jobs.

I'm fairly sure it's only for 500 skill. "Maybe" usable with some spells if you hit a tier and have the random pool bless you with a +4 STR and I'm not too sure on that either but... Worth it? Not really, that could be an absolute ton of effort and the gains are marginal at best for the 500 skill and probably not better for any physical casting either. You're better off putting effort elsewhere. |
