Is Umagrhk safe to 4 man? Say thf, mnk, whm, sch - would they put out enough dmg to take him out in time?
On my cell phone and the search function is bugging out on me, so sorry if that's been recently asked

That'll do just fine. If you can beat Samursk then you can beat Umaghrk. He's easier.

Indeed - I've done it DNC + SCH + MNK and we didn't bother to stun Beastruction.

Thanks for the feedback. Was just wondering if the loss of Regain on Embrava would be noticable in taking down the shield / lead to some danger.

Can bloodrake be learnt from Varkolak in Castle Zvahl [S]?

I tried Oupire but he has long respawn times and the group that claimed him didn't even respond to my plead for an invite >.>

They can be troublesome on occasions, sometimes they won't even use it, I was there for a good few hours before I finally got it.

There's a whole thread just for Shoha, but no. You should get a windbuffet to replace your +1 for your Shoha macro.

Your other option is of course the Aqueduct ones, I helped a friend farm bloodrake on those and they seemed to favor it a lot more than the past ones did, they also like doom though, so fun times with those.

Edit: Grats on learning

Was playing with thf spreadsheet and got a bit lost with Evisceration cause it seems to not account for set bonuses..so since I'm unsure I'll ask here:

(outside aby)
Oce/rancor/brutal/moon
Toci/raider/rajas/airy
Atheling/wanion/?/?

Thaumas/thaumas?
Athos/athos?
Athos/thaumas?
Raider/thaumas?
...other?

No salvage2 gear yet.

I dunno about THF gear, but in the spreadsheet in the "Gear" tab there's a line underneath the equipment that says "Set Bonus". You can put in whatever set bonuses you need in there.

Been out of the loop for awhile now. Did they ever follow up with anything worthwhile from the 2012 roadmap?

Job Related updates that they didn't do:
* New 2-hour abilities
* New Merit-Point 2-hour ability enhancements
* New Avatar: Cait Sith
* Dark Knight: Dark Magic version of Fast Cast
* Dark Knight: Absorb spell drain effects adjustment
* Monk: Boost effect adjustments
* Ranger: EES Enmity adjustment (I think?)
* Beastmaster: New Familiars / Familiar Adjustments
* Puppetmaster: Tactical Processor Adjustment (they minorly refined AI, but not this I think) / New Attachments

Battle Content Updates they didn't do:
* Dungeon Crawl System Expansion Part 2 (I assume this will be Rolanberry Meebles)
* Play as a Monster system
* WoE adjustments

Misc Updates they didn't do:
* UI: Additional rotation controls? Not sure about this one
* All the yellow UI boxes
* UI: New user customization features
* Gardening/Harvesting adjustments - They added geodes, but that's it.
* Whitegate warp NPC behavior adjustments - They may be talking about how you don't have to buy a permit when you use the portal anymore. It's unclear
* Chocobo Digging adjustments - Not as far as I know.

No, the timeline has "Dungeon Crawl System", "Dungeon Crawl System Expansion Part 1", and "Dungeon Crawl System Expansion Part 2".

Currently Meebles has two parts, so they're still missing the third.

Can anyone recommend a low man setup/strategy for Bhukis?

Zombied it as THF+WHM(dualbox mule) and SMN last night. THF tanked most of the fight weakened.

Limiting it to 3 players, are we SOL with our setup, or should we consider changing to NIN+WHM(dualbox mule) and some other job?

The doom was really the issue. If the only option is spamming holy waters then that is doable as well, just trying to see if there's a way to avoid the holy water spam/cursna spam, or a way to avoid doom without doom resist/nullify gear.

NIN WHM THF worked well for me. I was the NIN dual boxing the THF just SA'ing it from behind until TH increased for the first time then set him on the side. Holy Water + Cursna spam got doom off every time. Didn't find him too bad. I guess it depends on everyone's gear.

I was just duoing a couple Bukhis yesterday. the doom is unavoidable. I tried /nin for shits & giggles last night to no avail, but we reliably whipped his *** MNK/nin (me) & WHM/sch (my friend). for the longest time we relied on holy water / cursna, with varied results. my friend bought some neckpiece that enhances cursna, & since then we really haven't had any problems. I'd imagine it'd work on thf.....
