Nin Parse

I am looking for a parse of nins who have compared capped haste/DW compared to other sets.

(Hoping to word this right)

My friend is not buying into how haste and DW is the end all of stats.

He thinks that stats > haste, the biggest debate comes up of the iga ningi +2 vs AF chainmail.

He doesnt want to believe that 26% haste and dual wield is a better priority that the stats that the iga body offers. Anyone who is good at math better able to explain this? Or show me a parse of the comparison? (i cant find a parser that works any more or i would parse myself).

Iga ningi +2 is usually better outside of abyssea. You are looking for math, not a parse.

There's a thread (400+ pages three months ago) on the official forums with tons of readily available information on why haste is more important than any other stat in the game for every melee job.

Not to mention tons of info on bg/ffxiah.

Are you assuming marches/Embrava or uncapped accuracy here?

most of the time you are soloing in this game now and that means that chainmail wins. with marches and such then iga becomes better.

im lazy and just chainmail everywhere

I use chainmail for everything except Jeuno T6 but that's just me.

in all seriousness, chainmail > ningi unless you have other sources of haste a la march, haste, etc is what ive been told.

Use this prog to check out the haste cap with your stuff, if chainmail is still in need.
