Thinking About Server Hopping In About 6-8 Months.

I'd like to finish out some salvage sets for my LS, and then I'm thinking I need a nice quiet break from the noise of Odin. So, anyone have a quiet server with a quaint little social LS with a sense of humor? I was thinking Bismarck, but I'll keep my options open. Keep in mind, this wouldn't be until maybe sometime around Christmas or early next year. Just thought I'd poke around.

I don't want to say I'm retiring but I might start working more hours and trying to catch up a little bit on real life. I'd like to actually get married someday, and if I keep working part time and playing this game all day, I'm not going to be able to afford to get married.

No, I'm not going to ever quit LOL. I've been a fan of Final Fantasy games for nearly two decades. :) I'm just thinking that I want a quieter experience in the game. Odin's population is huge, and apparently, some how, some way, everyone on this server knows who I am and is constantly /telling me with questions, compliments, and in some cases just *** childish insults, LOL. I'm at the point where I have to delete people off my /flist just to put new people on. It's a bit much. I'd just rather have a much smaller circle of friends. :)

PUP friendly is a big plus.

Well 6-8 months is quite far from now so I'd just focus on what you got on your plate there in Odin for now and see how you feel about it at least 3-4 months from now.

Asura looks perfect because there's obviously nothing better to do there other than sit on FFXIAH.

There has actually been a decline in numbers on Odin of late and we're dropping off the top transactions on FFXIAH, will be interesting to see how long until they open it up again, which personally I hope doesn't happen.

Edit: Actually I wouldn't mind people coming to Odin, other Aussies for example since we already have so many, but I wouldn't want ... how do I put it, "unsponsored" people coming. ie RMT

Unique wins get you 5 points, repeated wins get you 1 point, you can rank up every 25 points.

Also, you should probably look at doing salvage when you start doing assault properly, since you'll always need to do assault to keep your points up for salvage permits.

If you're looking for a quiet server, then Bismarck is the best bet since its the smallest server atm. Lots of Social shells, like 3 good HNMls and some good Endgame shells.

I'd so rather finish CoP than assaults. Sea spells > Perdu. ; ;

tis true, Perdu is a very nice weapon, but having disseverement, actinic burst and plasma charge is way more important.
