program to watch sites like hulu?
we are tired of taking forever to download tv shows and the like because for some reason in this country (austria) we cannot use hulu. all it says is that its video library can only be viewed in the us. i was wondering if there was a program that i can download that will allow me to view this website and its content?
I use netflix on both my nintendo wii and Xbox360 to watch movies and TV shows like family guy and south parkm etc
I think you have to go through a proxy, then, to access those out-of-region sites?
http://www.proxy4free.com/ http://www.publicproxyservers.com/proxy/list1.html http://nntime.com/ Sites like the above should be able to do it no? I admit I have never tried using proxy sites for that purpose but you should be able to that way. ok thanks for the advice and tips
get on the right side of the prime meridian?
You may be able to change the region code on a console and make it work with hulu/netflix. I could be wrong and the public ip address alone could block you, but worth a shot. Oh ho ho... then what have you used proxies for, then? ;) Odin.Daemun said: » get on the right side of the prime meridian? Left. :P I am just full of bad jokes today, I apologize. http://www.vpnchoice.com/blog/watch-netflix-australia/ Also I wonder why Netflix is U.S. only. Maybe it has to do with their mailing service. But they should offer streaming to other countries, only seems practical from a business standpoint. Although I do subscribe to both Netflix and Hulu I tend to find myself frequenting
Project Free TV http://www.free-tv-video-online.me (the web domain (.me) will change and redirect you to a local mirror periodically so dont be surprised if you go to the site and you end up on free-tv-video-online.cd or something like that.) the site above usually has updated shows within hours of them airing, ie: southpark, greys anatomy etc, you get the picture. new movies usually appear within 2-3 days of them coming out. Another one I use is Movie 2K http://www.movie2k.to With both of those sites I recommend you using firefox or a pop up blocker add on if you don't to hear or see pop up ads. If you do use firefox make sure that you give it a couple of minutes to load. Don't know why or particularly care why lol but blocking the pop ups causes the load to lag on start sometimes. Final Note : DO NOT sign up for any site that requires you to setup and account or enter ANY kind of payment information. Just use common sense when using those sites. I call my proxies my "Righteous Fists of Cosmic Justice"! >:D LOL I actually found the proxy lists above from this website here... http://stream-recorder.com/forum/viewing-cbs-fox-outside-usa-t3668.html?s=e1a5d0ec1199aa29270a226cc2b40892& ...and just (internet-style) unceremoniously copied-and-pasted them to this thread without credit or reference. ^_- Lakshmi.Jesi said: » First Google hit: http://www.vpnchoice.com/blog/watch-netflix-australia/ Also I wonder why Netflix is U.S. only. It probably has something to do with licensing or rights. Lakshmi.Jesi said: » First Google hit: http://www.vpnchoice.com/blog/watch-netflix-australia/ Also I wonder why Netflix is U.S. only.
