i swear a saw a vid of a NIN soloing Genbu and he was casting and running...probably started running really close to cast but it looked funky

u can usually start running at 55%< and the spell will still go off. At least that's what I find to be true.

Yea Same as aspir, you cast it and about midway start running and no interruption. There's a few spells that do that. It's same as if you rent the choco at the crags and run before it uploads the choco.

I almost solo'd it as smn/sch, but it has a horrible draw in. Duo'd it with 2 smns easy, no 2hr.

I like the whole no exp loss for missions BCNMs, but I don't like the "complete this quest fight before you can continue with the missions"


Yeah, we tried a trio RNG/THF/DNC...figuring THF could tank, but it dropped THF's shadows too fast, I of course had no tp to do *** all cuz we just got in there, and RNG can't take a punch for ***anyways, so yeah...didn't work out too well...

Gonna try again with a BRD and a RDM, maybe a PLD tank if we can convince an ls member to do it with us (read PLD tanks this thing super easy), provided we can get everyone cleared up to this mission. Seems like no one gives a *** about WotG missions... >.<

PLD can actually solo this. I did it PLD/NIN and had no exceptional gear. I did die once though because my phone rang and I looked to see who it was. Bam, Petrified. >_> And it didn't wear for my entire HP bar. Second fight I fought it like a Taurus lol. If you can find a PLD and you go on WHM just in case for Stona, it's cake, man.

I heard blu solos it but the missions are still kinda pointless to do as far as rewards go so I'm not even sure where I am in them lol

Also, @Row, I like how SE did the "You must pass X quest to do X mission." It adds an open end to do a small, or large part of the past history, and change it how you see fit. If I just want to help Windy (who has the hardest *** quests x.x) I can choose to. But it kinda feels like constant "Three Paths" from CoP...except you have a choice of which mission you WANT to do to continue. :)

Ok running while casting is no no. Unless your at pretty much exact same spot you are when you started spell you will get interrupted regardless of intteruption rate. -interupption rate just lowers your chance to not get attacked out of the spell. So theoretcially 100% would make it like brd spells. You can still get para slept stunned moved but you cant get hit out of it. Now the reason why you can move at the end is cause its right as you cast. Notice even without fast cast most people complete spells at like 80%ish due to lag on the bar. Really 100% cast is more like when you can cast again.
