Well it starts to stick out like a sore thumb when her first bf she pretty much threw herself to, lost her virginity to this guy and immediately got dumped. Next guy was some dude she met in game and was still in high school (note she is my age and in her early 20s), they moved in together and lasted like a few months before he felt homesick, dumped her and left back home. Now she's going out with another dude she met in game and visited her and despite telling me it was merely a visit of platonic purpose, that turned out to be *** since they're a couple now. This is all within like a month of her previous breakup.

I already told her after she told me he was visiting her irl as a 'just friends' thing: "Who are you fooling? Me or yourself?"

Guess it didn't sink in.

Hey Arte, some people are just like that. I've known plenty of people that needed a man/woman in their life at all times to feel good about themselves. I've been the shoulder to cry on many times when the ***'s gone south, but no longer...

I don't know why so many people just need to be with someone to be happy about themselves. 90% of the time that need will just drive them to somebody that, at best, really isn't right for them, if not borderline abusive (or worse, full on abusive)...

You can tell them 1,000 times that they need to take a break on being in a relationship to "self evaluate" and determine what they want out of life and a relationship, but until they hit that breaking point, they never will. It's like anything else in life...you can tell someone til you're blue in the face about something, but until it smacks them in the eye a few times, it'll never sink in...
