Seriously. MNK as a job is broken. If you compare 1 DMG vs +6% crits, you're a retard. End of tale.
Depends what you're fighting tbh. I'd rather have the extra hits to ws more than crit once more out of nearly seventeen hits.
Yeah, the DD rewards are often too good to pass up even if you play a tank job, and they still function well with the job itself... Guess I'll be getting Bushino/Ethereal/Ultham/Rajas
Yet it is impossible to find a ring that's even close to Sattva's quality being a PLD. There are plenty of DD rings. Lots of +STR/ATT/ACC rings. Very few or hard to obtain +enmity/HP/VIT rings.

Yeah i did go for the sattva, but i didnt go for the knights, b.c supp was just to good and also +5 sword has its uses when using a mach + 1 where knighhts looked ismply for /war namis tanking onry
Yeah, that's what I did too. Also you can't merit Dual Wield. So that's just handy if you ever lvl a job that needs a suppa earring.
Yeah and it kinda worked out well since i decided i liked tanking so much id lvl nin haha 2 more lvls on nin and i can put the suppa to use finally ^^

yeah i know double post but blah, zekky has an amazing point the sattva is everything a pld could want short of a pure def bonus, fire resist, accuracy, and a ***.
Meh! Overrated. Or maybe I'm just talking from a MNK's point of view. If I had a Rajas instead of the e. ring, I'd be getting 5 TP per hit. I get 5 TP per hit with the e. ring so for me it wouldn't benefit. And PLD is my main so Sattva is was.

I stuck with a Herc ring. >.>; adds the same Enm+, and I you never really use VIT outside of Dynamis anymore. ; ; The HP would have been nice, but I second ring a BQR. >_<
I <3 my Sattva + Hercules' setup and then BQR for HP build. I don't know. I had Rajas first and then I switched over to Sattva and I just noticed quite the difference in my holding hate capabilities. DDs were no longer overpowering me. XD
You know, I looked at these SCH AF quests and I was like "Jeez, clicking ***, what a *** joke!"
Then I looked harder, and actually started doing them, saw the time/weather requirements to even see the thing to click on, and all the freaking travel to get to them, and yeah....
I'd almost rather farm for the *** coffer keys and ***...

You can't even come close to beating 5str/dex and store tp all at the same time. However agi kinda goes to waste on pld. The emnity is nice and hp sometimes helps the vit sure it helps but endgame not too much. And for any other job cept maybe nin its pretty lol. Oh and ethereal earring is full of fail that convert to mp thing is crap
Sadly you need over 9000 VIT and DEF for it to make even a remotely noticeable difference in how hard you get hit. So to pass Rajas up for a Satvva is kinda meh if you ask me. Even if you are a hardcore tank.
Well I wouldn't say you need 9000 even the 5 will make a difference according to the dmg formulas itd be more or less like subtracting 5 dmg... which when a mob hits you for 300 yeah who really cares
Well that's what I was getting at, between the combination of requiring ridiculously high stacked defense and VIT to curve the damage and as a result setting aside other equally important stats; and high level mobs hitting you so hard because of the simple level difference it's just not worth it.
Im sure if you could get 9000 though you could probably get them to crit you for 0.... someone make a 9000 def body peice noa!!!
