I think that's half the reason they are nerfing it. Everyone else has to sacrifice survivability or offensive capacity for TH, except for THF (well, THF makes sacrifices in that it's THF, but that's a different story
Also THF gear is ugly as ***. /SIDETRACK)
Although BST doesn't get the higher tiers of TH, even SE knows that only THII/III matter statistically. They want you to make sacrifices to get to that level.
I'd be happy with my pet having TH2. RNG gets it. Why can't a THF pet?
I just say that when I'm running thf with Dread atma. That's without +2 hands ofcourse.

RNG gets it on an ability it can use once every 5 minutes.
My bad, I was looking at something else. It is 1 minute.
Its 1min but can stack with multiple successful hits

Let's knock a few Martial Arts traits off MNK or PUP! Maybe some MAB off of BLM! Take Auto-Refresh off PLD and SMN! Take some Evasion Bonus from THF and DNC! Don't worry! You can earn it back! Cool? Of course it is! Enjoy!

You don't know how many pieces of gear they're going to implement. They might just add a single piece. They might add 15. You don't know the final value of TH that pets will be able to obtain, so stop acting like all of a sudden pets will be able to get TH4+.

This is a welcome change. BSTs dont bug me in Dynamis persay but it'll get more people out there in different job combinations. Dynamis has become too cookie-cuter anyways.
But if you sub THF and wear just one piece of this gear that is going to enhance TH you can get TH3 on any pet regardless if they are a THF pet or not :(
I think if you have TH2 and your pet has TH2, you get TH2.

No where does it say that your traits go to your pets. thus your TH2 doesnt go to your pet. nor did they say that Pet TH stacks with normal TH. so i would assume they can get a max of TH2 atm. either subbing THF or getting the "Pet TH+1" equip

People are upset, because "hoping" that when this is implemented it turns out to be better in the long run is a scary proposition considering how SE handles things. Also because Bst is basically useless in VW, and almost certainly will be in Legion if it is anything like einherjar.
So old tired boring as hell content like dynamis was one of the few events where Bst could shine. Now they want to timesink us into getting gear to get back to a level of playability we've been at for some time now.
If it does turn out where we can through work get TH on other pets through gear that will be fantastic. However I will reserve my enthusiasm till after this is implemented.

WS procs are not as efficient as JA procs solo.
Anyway, the point is, it's a pretty big hit to BSTs, I'm not saying it isn't merited, but it is a pretty big hit.

I don't think steal can proc if it misses. I've never landed steal on dyna mobs DNC/THF.
