Lowest Reward Recharge

What is the lowest recast on reward atm? I'm not count stuff like if you have to be in salvage to use it and etc.

You can reduce the recast by 35 seconds, I think. Look up the reward page on bgwiki.

Merits: -15 seconds
Warbonnet of some kind: -10 seconds
AF2+2 legs: -10 seconds

I tested khimaira vs warbonnet about 2 years ago and they were the same.

I thought the recast could be lowered to 49 seconds:

- 5/5 merits = -15 seconds

-Stout Bonnet = -16 seconds

-Monster Trousers +2 = -10 seconds

Also, does anyone know if the +10 haste that Monster Trousers +2 gives to your pet when using familiar has to be equipped or just during initial use of familiar?

Well, the two posters above you disagree with Stout Bonnet's recast.

Leviathan.Soula tested the Stout Bonnet's recast and confirmed -16 seconds

This is true. Stout is said to give -16. and its almost same price as the others on our server.

But does anyone know if the +10 haste that the Monster Trousers +2 give when using Familiar (after you augment) have to stay equipped or just when initially using Familiar? :3

I did not test stout bonnet. I tested bison and Khimaira bonnets.

I am very interested to confirm the stout bonnet findings. Also compare Brave's warbonnet. There are no numbers on that, however both stout warbonnet and brave's warbonnet seem to have very high prices lately...

As far as the the haste testing goes for Monster trousers +2, Falkirk did some Basic testing which implies that they only need to be equipped when you use familiar:

The testing is not definitive. It is not easy to measure delay changes for a pet. However, it is a pretty good indicator that you only need to equip trousers when casting familiar.

If "Pet: Haste" works anything like other stats that say "Pet: ___", you'd have to keep the gear equipped to maintain the effect.

For example, a SMN can't just summon an avatar with Pet: MAB gear on; it's necessary to have that gear equipped when the BP goes off. I would also be very hesitant to trust anything you read on Allakhazam. :X

Well, that just shows you are ignorant that most the great info about bst and jugs has all been coming from that thread on ZAM. ffxiah has some great discoveries also, but most stuff is found first and posted first right there.

Also, you haven't been testing or paying attention to any of the Monster +2 gear. the Familiar Augment is the 2nd upgrade to the armor.
the bonus is not for pet haste itself on the pants its for the JA.

The augment is to familiar. It augments the affect of familiar. it is Familiar which will add the 10% haste bonus, not just equipping the pants.

When did this competition start? I wasn't aware we were in the race of providing information first before anyone else typed it.

Nevermind, tested it myself. You don't have to keep the pants on for the 10%. You only need to be wearing the pants when you use Familiar.

Also, fyi, I just bought a Brave's bonnet to test. It is 15s recast reduction.

Are you sure Stout bonnet is 16s reduction? I would think it would be the same as Brave's bonnet. Yes, if you hit /recast right away it says 1:14, but you'll never get the recast to 1:30 on recast when not using any gear, it will always say 1:29.

My point was that the closest precedent for the way that stat is worded on other gear suggests that you'd need to have it equipped. If I was making a definitive claim, I wouldn't have used a conditional. That's great if it works the way you say though. :)

And as far as Alla goes, good to hear things are picking up over there, but honestly I can't remember the last time someone cited well-tested info from anywhere but BG lol no offense intended.

Plus I thought brave's was -10 still? Never personally tested, just use Stout's.
