I remember how it was in the old days. How after TP-return nerf no one would PT with my DRG. I remember DRKs being "uber" because of them being able to put up high numbers. That was before people knew DoT (Dmg over Time) was superior to this one-shot dmg style.
I remember the days of people posting parsers where their DRG owned the rest of the PTs dmg, and people wouldn't believe it OR suggested the other members were dead gimp.
There's alot of stuff like this. Those who didn't experience these days can't really understand how much "easier" the game has become.
Heck, I remember when BLMs would get PT invites, and were a popular job in a PT. I remember when we built a static based on SC and MB dmg. Oh lawd.

Anyone else remember the ??? for Yara Ma Ma... being camping incessantly for Fasting Ring?
I used to trade it a water in passing, but it had already been watered like 99% of the time.
I finally got my Fasting Ring when (as WAR/WHM 21 ... lulz) I was riding back to Windurst and someone died with it at like 20% as I was passing. I quickly dismounted and finished it off for my Ring. It is still one of the few Rare/Ex items that I have that people always ask "Where did you get that?"
