ok ya I must have hit wrong key when mathing 11.1*1.55

but either way, there's no way for him to lose .4 tp on fudo without going under 100, lowest he could get would be to lose brutal during fudo to get to 100.2, and that just sounds like an incredibly bad idea just to lose .2 tp overflow.

We're doing the same math, I get 16TP from fudo. When I did my initial setup I didn't drop the 10ths place to floor, I rounded, leaving me at 100.03 or some paltry decimal over. But, in months of spamming fudo in every high attack situation I have yet to come up short on TP unless I didn't get back into TP gear fast enough. Doing the math I am short of 5hit, but even in practice I'm still landing on 100. So, I will have to revisit my sets when I'm slightly more awake, cause something definately isn't adding up.

And you're 100% sure you're not getting hit during your TP phase?

but yes, I was posting how you got 100.4, since someone said 100.3.

One of the questions was 4 STR vs. 5 DA 1 STP!

Correct, I meditated, engaged and fudo, and maintained third eye the whole way to 100, I need to check my macros and gear because its not adding up.

Ok, figured it out. When I wrote my current macro's about 4 months ago I had a bunch of purple abyssites to pop and assumed I would get a strigoi, which I didn't, however I did write the gearset for it. So I've been inadvertantly WSing in tyrants, which puts me dead on 100...

So, forgive me for the first post, I feel like a grade A moron atm...

It's already fixed, but it looks like I'll be putting forgotten steps in my WTB.

personally I wouldn't worry about it, since nearly everything you do you have some form of regain, and 1 tick of regain makes the whole issue a moot point, and if you don't have regain and still want to maintain a true 5 hit, either Houyi's Gorget or Unkai Nodowa would put you back at 5 hit

don't have mala, 87 stp in tp gear, so I use af3 neck atm, hopefully my hahava luck will change soon, 0/200+.

You should really have TP/WS sets for when you have regain and when you don't

I personally do, but then I also maximize my WS sets and have no STP in them aside from brutal/rose strap, since on sam most dmg comes from WS

I have a couple different setups utilizing rancor collar atheling etc for regain situations, the set i goofed up was my no buff set, which thankfully doesn't get used much.

Since I got that figured out and still no luck on mala, I'm playing around with sets....

So, assuming something similar to this for WS, obvious upgrades are obvious....

I am torn between these 4 sets

They're all just interum till I get Mala, but in the mean time I'd like to use something a little closer to what I'll be using with mala.

I only use fudo when attack is near capped, phorcys > heafoc when the att isn't helping you? Stacking DA on fudo has never paid off for me

Hadn't really considered it to be honest, i guess a few str is nothing compared to the att and da.

Can you lose the unkai earring and still get a true 5-hit? Something like below gets you 100?

TP

Fudo

Why would you TP in Centaurus, when the unkai at least gives some Zanshin/TP benefit? Adding to your overall hassozanshin rate, I would think would be better overall than a measly 10 attack during the TP phase no? Every bit adds up, ya?
