Rose strap + Usu feet + Misuu would allow you to use Zelus to cap haste. With AM up (if Amano is 99) you could swap out in Atheling and Ace's feet to get 25%.

Mustela, AF3+2 hands for Shoha, heafoc are nice if ACC is capped but you have a 2nd hit without an ACC bonus and two chances at DA,TA,QA procs without an ACC bonus.

Edit: Attempting to get Ogier's Breeches for Fudo, but Gaunab doesn't like me.

You're not capping haste and you only need 24 stp in your set so you are going way overboard. Aim for something like this, but maybe with zelus in your case. Obviously, if you don't use merits for Oneiros then switch to something else.

Quick question regarding X-hit with a Kantonotachi. Are 4-hit builds the standard with this GKT like Hagun and 6hit, or does everyone go the 5-hit route? I haven't used SAM in years and wondering how much STP I should be aiming for. I don't have everything +2/Phorcys, so I'm wondering if a 5hit is good enough?

You need 65stp for that assuming merits. Do think you can get it w/o nni gear and dropping haste. Think a 5 hit is where you should aim for.

This set has 33 STP. Would it be an option not to merits STP and aim for 34 STP?

5/5 Zanshin

Not much option I can find for DA TA QA on gear when haste capped, 5/5 STP and 24 STP on gear.

On your set 11 STP is still wasted right?

You need the overflow for 4 hits because your ws set will have drastically less stp and you want to maintain a true 5 hit (4 hit + ws). You could shave off 2 stp in merits and be fine, but if you shave off 4 you'd have to land both hits of shoha to 5 hit.

In your scenario you'd have to overshoot by a bunch of stp in your tp set or have a p.o.s. ws set if you wanted to remove stp merits.

Yes, you can. It looks like 328 total stp over 5 hits with a 464 delay gkt for a for sure 5 hit.

Been playing mage jobs mostly so x-hit is kinda new to me.

Whats a good replacement for Oneiros Ring? And doesthe effect activate with 10/12 MP merits or does it need to be > 100 MP instead of >= 100?

i need some opinions as well for sam if anyone could please give me some input, i'd really appreciate it.

Bottom section which is seemingly a WS set, Justiciar's/Prosilo belt when uncapped on attack with Tachi: Fudo. If capped: Light Gorget/Light belt. If cant afford Justiciar's and/or Prosilo belt, then just use the elemental belts in uncapped attack scenarios aswell.

For Tachi: Shoha: Mala and Windbuffet in capped accuracy situations, Breeze gorget if uncapped (Breeze belt aswell if further accuracy issues persist). Again, if do not have the former, utilize the latter in both scenarios.

I need some help trying to work out how much stp I can shave off with embrava for my masamune

With capped haste my delay is 1.46 seconds, so with 4 attack rounds and tp from my previous ws it takes about ~5.84 seconds to reach 100tp

Now can I only account for 1 tic of regain from embrava, or could I push it to 2 tics when considering the time you're locked in ws animation (not actually sure how long that is)
When thinking about multi hit equipment and buffs it leans me to thinking 1 tic is all I can safetly account for.
1 tic would allow me to shave 11 stp off (assuming 5regain/tic)

I'm looking for others opinions on it

Edit: I was looking around on montentens DPS spreadsheets and think I might have found the answer I was looking for, it said I would get 7 regain/ws so I'll build a set around 1 tic of regain

One tick is 5-6 tp... means you could drop 10 stp or more in your tp set. In other worlds, a lot.

Before i had nni gear my embrava set basically subbed zelus when hasso is up (should be always with embrava) and atheling instead of kappa. Even with high amounts of da, i never come up short

This is what I find works best for me, my Masamune is also 90 not 80 like in the item set. I tried using Ogiers Breeches on Fudo and I wasn't overly impressed with them, I use Rajas on WS because it allows me just enough STP for not having Rose strap to maintain my 5hit build after the WS so its just ws + 4 hits.

There is no 1 combination that is the absolute best really, it depends on if you are using Amano, Masamune, OaT, or STP GK just gotta find what works for you, however a 5hit with capped haste is going to be your best bet in all scenarios, if you lose out on haste the 5hit almost is not worth it.

I'm sacrificing ~.5% haste for 20% ws frequency. Its and i use a lot more stp in my tp set because i will not compromise on my ws sets.

Yeah if Hasso is up Unkai Haidate +2 or bust. 6.5%>6%. Plus the 2.5% bonus on Hasso isn't going to go towards gear cap, leaving you room to make that haste up else where (like working on your rose strap and replacing goading with bullwhip or phos)

Sorry I suppose I should have said when using Hasso I do full time my +2 legs but thats not always the case my mistake.

I honestly don't phorcys in any sam set. Seigan set should include saotome legs for added counter.

Do they have to be full timed to receive the bonus?
I haven't put much thought or time into my SAM since I got my Apocalypse, I usually go DRK to everything, but occasionally I am asked to go SAM to things because most of the DRKs in my LS have Apoc or Ragnarok.

Ya i believe they do... i guess phorcys could be used sam/nin when you aten't riding hasso between casting. But thats a pretty rare occasion.

I would honestly like to know too. I could have sworn I was told to stray from all DA gear really on Kaiten (barring Brutal). And I was also under the impression that Unkai Sugemino was pretty good for all the WS anyways.
