Do people find Ikishoten useful now or what?

Hell yes!

Ikishoten is affected by your Store TP. So if Ikishoten grants you equal or more TP than a basic swing of your GK (before adding Store TP) it will count as a hit in your x-hit build.

iirc, You need:
4/5 for 450 delay weapons and below.
5/5 for higher delays.

So with Hasso up, with one swing it's possible to:
  • Hit

  • Zanshin

  • Ikishoten

Which is double damage and triple TP in one attack round.

One reason why people like the Unkai Domaru +2^^

I know I'm missing Rose strap, so I wouldnt technically have a true 5 hit, Havent gotten a strigoi, nor have I phorcys head, or mala ; ;
All things I'm working on. Working out math, but Any advice would be helpful at this point.

TP Bonus Moonshade (any WS earring to hold you over), Phorcys Korazin/Mitts and minor things like Phos/+1 are all that jump out at me besides what you already know you need.

Everything else looks great.

Top one (with Hasso up). AF3+2 pants are just too tough to beat with the 2.5% JA Haste they provide.

no mention of pants having to be full timed for hasso effect.
both are hasso up sets. just wondered if using the botton one was better after macro`d unkai+2 hasso usage.

All Bg an wiki say is 2.5% haste while JA active figured you could,
JA in unkai+2 then swap while hasso is in effect an still retain
the bonus.

Nah, the bonus is applied the same way DNC relic pants +2 are applied to Saber Dance. They have to remain equipped to get the bonus.

Bullwhip really isn't THAT big of a crutch. It's fine til you can get a phos (if you spend the gil. I for one wouldn't spend 7M for my hp back)

To touch a bit on my ws set i posted earlier, and mentioning i dont have a rose strap, I'm only get back 16-17 tp back on average. 20 tp per hit, but i understand its not a true x5 hit until its 21.

Getting confused with too many people on my server saying "until you get this.. use this."

Any ideas ?

Your Fudo set returns: 17.0 TP
And your Shoha set: 16.3 TP for 1st hit (17.3 TP for both hits landing?)

So, after Fudo at least, you need about 48 TP in your TP set. You currently have 42. So you can just use Unkai Kabuto +2 but lose a few Haste.
In fact I think that's pretty standard, Unkai Kabuto with Ace's Leggings, and Zelus Tiara if you have Usukane Sune-Ate. Unless like that guy you have a Phorcys Salade.

So, based on what I've researched. Using this tp set...

...and eating Carbonara for food should enable me to 4 hit with a 480 delay great katana.

This would be the gear I weapon skill in:

Any noteable improvements that could be made? Presuming that I'll never choose to obtain a Masamune.

--------------

Also, what's the reason that Windbuffet Belt > Elemental Belt while Elemental Gorget > Ganesha's Mala.
I would figure if the Windbuffer Belt beats the belt due to it's high ftp value then the Ganesha's Mala should also win against the gorget?

Mala is also better than gorget if you don't need accuracy.

"Better" is subjective. Mala has ~0.12 average FTP, gorget has 0.1 constant FTP

Not this again....

For both these sets the stp is needed. If the stp is not needed then either atheling or unkai back will be better options.

Equip Draca Couse instead, and you're set. (change ele gorget to shadow for ws)
