4-5 mil is nothing these days. If it is, they likely are missing far more than a reasonable haste belt (I doubt someone who can't make 4-5m in a decent amount of time is getting floor 100 gear any time soon), and thus it doesn't matter what they're wearing on their waist until they correct more glaring issues.
Hell, I'd wager that in the time it takes to get a bullwhip belt you could get a good portion of the money necessary for an NQ phos.
Besides all of that, unless I'm missing something, we'd want to be targeting optimal gearsets, not the most convenient.
Could use NQ Phos or Bullwhip to be a fraction away from capped haste.

Forgot to account stp merits which is would bring you at 20.8 with mala 21.1 with nodowa.
So from his ws set 18.1 where both hits land 20.8x4=83.2 83.2+18.1=101.3
If shoha lands only the first hit 83.2+16.7 = 99.9 , so if you're afraid of ending up at 99,9 you can use hagneia during WS.
So yeah Mala fits in there.
Think you're missing the sword strap. Unless I'm derping you'd get 16.6 from ws and 21.1 on TP hit.
Edit: Just woke up when I posted this, kinda confused by what you said. Guess what you're saying is using hagenia stone in ws and mala during tp will out perform my original set? Though some of the values you said differ slightly from mine.
Edit 2: Guess you could just use Misuuchi Kappa and Ganesha's Mala so you don't have to WS in Hagenia.
Just wondered, like every set ive seen has Unkai Haidate +2, are they pretty much optimal for TPing? what about in haste + embrava situations? how do Phorcys Dirs compare?

You need 11.7% JA to cap, so these pants cap SAM with Haste+Embrava
Since the murasamamaru-thread has been revived the other day, I went over gear-sets again and played around with options.
Now, that GK isn't really the best, in terms of gearing it for the low delay, if you're trying to apply a certain x-hit build.
So, I actually went and played around with the latest DPS-spreadsheet, to see even small differences.
Everything seemed to add up to the common belief about what is rather optimal right now, except that I got Atheling as the best Shoha-back with a number of gear-variations.
I kind of thought Unkai to be the most valid option for pretty much every scenario.
I used settings for outside-Aby, with minmal buffs (zerk, aggressor, haste, mainly), took the Qilin settings from the spreadsheet and tried to see if results with increased ACC and ATT (by adding food-buffs) would change.
Has anyone have experienced the same?
Or is it just due to the way the spreadsheet is "emulating" potential dmg-output?
Well it's not like the unkai back doesn't have 18 or so attack on it... So it's not like the unkai back sucks. I use it and I have atheling too. But I also use Windbuffet Belt. It's fun to get an occasional quad proc in lol.
Speaking of Windbuffet, when I played around with the spreadsheet, it always became quite apparent when there was a slight accuracy-issue, when it comes to belt-options.
As soon as hitrate wasn't capped, ele belt was the better one.
Of course this is known already.
But what I asked myself was, whether Windbuffet would be worth using on most VW fights (maybe starting at T6 and above).
Even though, without food and other acc buffs, I came out 93% on Qilin already too.
Going by that, I'd rather stick to ele belt for most higher things, generally speaking, and bust out Windbuffet only against "fodder-stuff" solely.
Not sure how often acc will be capped, considering Shoha being multihit too.
Any potential or is AF3+2 body too good to replace?

I hate to be that guy. But between taking random breaks here and there, and just plain forgetting... My quest towards a Rose Strap had proved frivolous. Any sets for Masa for those without Rose Strap? I am obviously working towards it. But I need a solid set in the mean time.

i'm not following lol. zanshin on af3+2 body is +10, with zanhasso procs thats +2.5 proc increase, and since you should already have ~15% zanhasso rate its not that big of an increase/loss for swapping out 2% TA
i thought that porthos would be better (even though it seems like they would cancel each other out, other than the accuracy factor) but since zanhasso proc's last, i just thought TA would be > than zanshin.
