No difference other than one option costing you 295k over the other.
Is this still the be all, end all WS for non-Twash dncs? I haven't really messed with it TOO much. I have it 5/5 and all I do on dnc is solo my currency for my Amano. I still find myself going PK >> Evis for darkness. Is there perhaps a better SC I can use for dnc, or is there a better use for this WS? I'm thinking about taking it down 5/5 in lue of another choice.

I like it a lot personally (a non-twash dnc) I find myself using it mostly when I have 100TP and NFR isn't up and I am not doing something that step will help with (killing too weaks by the dozen for caskets) or if I am holding the steps for a just in case or something else. It is not usually the most efficient choice but it is nice to have a single WS option for when I don't want/need to skillchain.
Plus it is stylish as all hell and that gives it points in my book.

Enemy ACC-20 is pretty amazing.
My dats from the last patch are all glitched, so I look like a crazy spinning turkey when I Exenterator. Big grey rays come out of my back while I am spinning... I should really fix that.

Ya, that's fine, but on stuff that matters (VW), you ride temps or have pld tanks with ochain these days, no? I have literally never used dnc yet in VW. I don't think the acc-20 really matters for just farming dyna coins, sadly.
I friggin' love watching BRDs using Exen., especially in their normal song gear. Huge flashy animation, 200 dmg. :D

On stuff that matters, Exenterator is still going to (usually) be your most powerful WS.
You may have temps in VW, but people don't seem to realize, they do go down occasionally. Acc-20 is Hit Rate -10%. It only helps. Thing is, it sounds like you're not serious about your DNC, which means you shouldn't be bringing it to VW anyway, because unless you go all out, your performance will be lackluster.
As for Dynamis, ok it's nice that you can solo Darkness, but EPs barely survive Exenterator after a proc and vs. DCs, Exenterator is the difference between offhanding an Evasion dagger and offhanding an Attack dagger.
DCs have a better drop rate on everything, just as a note.
Anguinus Belt/Prosilio beat out Windbuffet if acc capped?

I'm wondering why belt and gorget are not good for this WS? I'm not arguing that they would be good, I just want to know for knowledge's sake.
Hume/THF AGI would put you at 145 with this set, 5 fTP with offhand.
Can assume 13 fSTR for something like dynamis, and probably around 1.75 cRatio.
So with Houyi's Gorget/Crudelis belt you'd have:
((47+13+(156*.85))*5)*1.75 = 1685
With gorget/belt:
((47+13+(145*.85))*5.2)*1.75 = 1667
Doesn't count any extra attack or fSTR from crudelis belt either. Gorgets just don't add a lot to Exenterator, and Houyi's/Crudelis are both easy/cheap to get.

This is what i use atm. Thanks to the very first post of this thread & Austar's math to make it easy to see, my light belt is going to be thrown out. Besides that, what other upgrades should i look into. Dont own Thaumas hands yet nor Myrmex *prays* & I use charis +2 over athos because im usually solo in dynamis. Would a +3 agi earring give me a better output than my ghillie & what would be a strong rep for my waist? Thanks in advance.
