Advice on girls, yes another one
So I should only date someone if I lack blankets, pillows or warmth when I sleep?
Anyway, have a good night guys! O: Don't get in too much trouble. And don't leave me alone with all of the girls if we ever go out. Odin.Hitoseijuro said: » Odin.Liela said: » And I never understood women who made their husbands sleep on the couch when they were upset. The best thing to curl up against to go to sleep is your husband! It's more of a punishment for the girl than for the boy to sleep on the couch. "I'm mad at you so I'm going to punish myself by taking away my blanket, heater, pillow, and snuggler?" Hell no. >.> Ive only slept on the couch, twice?(maybe 3) times. All by my own wishes to. And it was just my way of letting the person know I was hurt and the problem was not being fixed or vocal communication was not being resolved. So I turned to my own male ways of communication since somewhere there had been a communication breakdown apparantly. That being said, last thing I wanted to do was pull off the covers to jump into bed only to find her naked under them and 5mins later proceed to break the wall that I manfully put up(I broke a sweat doing it ,gawd) just to wake up in the morning and be like "gudfookingdamnit D:" From that would lead me to think: Was this better? We arent argueing and we are happy again.......or Now the situation wont be address, my feelings were ignored entirely and now she knows 1) she can by pass things with sex 2) What I was going through was -clearly- not important enough. And worst of all my head tells me she may do it again in the future because I didnt "properly" address it the first time. So, yea. If that's what it took to communicate with your girl, that's fine. Different couples have different dynamics. It's just our preference (my husband's and mine) to explain what we are feeling/thinking when we are upset. Even if we don't agree on the subject at hand, knowing that I've said or done something that hurt his feelings always makes me stop in my tracks. And even if we don't resolve what we were disagreeing about, we'll usually resolve the feelings around the issue so we can disagree happily. And even if we are still miffed with each other, we almost always go to bed together. During really busy times, like dead week/finals week/if he has a big project at work, he might stay up later to work on it. But he always comes to bed eventually, and I really like it that way. It makes me feel secure that even if we aren't agreeing, we still love each other enough to stay close at night. Security blanket! But I definitely see where you are coming from that if other communications have failed, maybe it was the best way to get through to your girl. You make me almost want to think about actively finding myself a woman!

It's been almost a decade for me too. I smoked from age eighteen to this fall, so that doesn't help at all. I just started running again this fall, it's been too cold to do it lately. zahrah said: » Not really anymore. It's been almost a decade for me too.
