Does Assassin's Creed have anything to do with Square-Enix? I didn't think it did..?

This just makes it look like SquareEnix is running low on the cash flow and is trying to strike deals with other companies to make a bit of money. I fully maintain the belief that Final Fantasy X was the last great Final Fantasy game Square ever made, and ***has gone downhill quick since they've merged with SquareEnix.

Maybe if they actually released games at a decent rate then I'd forgive them, but announcing the game and giving us a trailer, then actually releasing the game 100+ years later to subpar reactions/reviews/everything is unexcusable. SquareEnix is on the brink of collapse, and it's going to happen soon.

sorry to say but i dont see how an optional dlc soils its name. SE needs to grab their audience outside of japan.

and if it isnt 10 dollars i will grab this, sorry but that does look alot better than his normal outfit... and if it works in cs then all the better. i dont mind his normal outfit but srsly oversized huge pants is just...no..nononono

I think this is more about AC whoring itself out than Square selling FF out. Its a win/win situation as far as I'm concerned. More Ezio is a good thing.

ya. i mean they can only make money off of it since its dlc and not forced on the buyer. also i do think this game will be nice. i didnt mind 13 too much... besides hating hope and snow. otherwise it was a good play. better than most games now, no story just multiplayer... and if there is a story its short and ***. so really i dont think it will be bad

It's one thing to work with Disney and have the entire game revolve around that with it's own title and standing, and another to outsource outfits via DLC in a ridiculous and alienating manner to what used to be somewhat original and unique with each franchise release.

It's hardly alienating. You don't have to use it.

You forget people want to just look cool and have flashy graphics nowadays.

Now, if they added DLC for current-gen-ified costumes from older FF games, I'd be all for it. (Though I still wouldn't pay for it.)

I just see it as a simple novelty option. It's just intended to be a fun thing for people to mess around with if they see fit. It's not like they're actually trying to bring the 13 universe into the Assassin's Creed one or anything.

exactly. and i think that ppl who are against it are just to harsh and closed minded personally. i mean optional things shouldnt make u get all angreh. unless its for multiplayer games that give other ppl benefits.
