COD: MW3

Well, you weren't doing it in response to anyone, and I believe Clinpachi(excuse me for name butchering if I did so) came in the thread and preemptively said it was bound to happen and just made some points, he didn't 'bash',if at all, in the sense of calling cod fans CoDtards that I recall.

On the note of advertisements, when I saw this on TV I totally thought it was gunna be a preview for a parody movie about call of duty. XD

I don't resort to calling people fanboys or fangirls.... Is that supposd to belittle you for liking something?? When you call someone a fanboy or fantard... I don't think people understand they just inadvertently called themself a fanboy for the opposite team while maintaining the stature of a prepubescent teenager.

Never once used that term for that reason. I even stated ill sadly be forced into getting a copy and trying it most likely.

Fanboys/fantards are people who blindly attack things with no basis just because it happens to clash with whatever their exalted idol happens to be.

It is entirely possible to point out fanboyish behaviour (ie blindly attacking something) without being a fanboy yourself. I don't consider myself a fanboy of anything (except maybe Mithra...)

The only huge huge qualms I have with mw3 at this time is trying to charge 50$ for a membership and the unhealthy junk food promotions that give advantages of extra xp and content.

It's the internet, it's going to happen. I for one like CoD, but what's the difference between coming into a MW3 thread and bashing it opposed to bashing BF3 in a MW3 thread?
Or the most ironic thing: arguing about any other game than FFXI on a FFXI oriented website? ;D

If I go into the thread of a game I hate and post messages saying how much I dislike it etc repeatedly, I am basically trolling people. I'm not adding anything constructive and I'm just annoying the people posting.

If in a different nonrelated thread I am saying I dislike a certain game, I am not saying it with the intent to annoy others. It is the intent that differentiates the act.

I suddenly feel drained of the will to argue.

Moral of the story: if mithra/viera were real, there would be world peace.

That has to be the lowest score I've seen on an FPS in years.


Fallout 3 is actually kind of fun to play though, because of the massive range of decisions and free roam, plus the effect decisions have on the game as you progress. MW is just crap all around.
New Vegas, idk, I do plan on buying it later on in 2012 when the "Ultimate Edition" comes out, with all the expansions for PC, I've heard its a lesser version of 3, but I've enjoyed 3 and heard that in NV the decisions you make have a bigger impact on the end of the game.

I made the mistake of buying Black Ops (I own a few of the CoD titles from the ps2 and have played MW/2), never buying a CoD title again unless the reviews are so high that gandhi himself buys a copy.

I disagree, I think hot *** are the cause of all the worlds ills. How many world leaders and despots sought their power simply to have a harem of *** a snap away?

Give it a week for the reviews to balance out. right now it's most likely people flaming it.

Right now, the majority of the reviews are BF3 fanboys (I'm serious, read them... 95%+ are like OMG THIS GAME IS NOT BF3 IT SUCKS). For some reason the idiots decided to bomb the game.

It's very good if you liked MW2/CoD4.

Appalled at MW3. I was walking all over people last night at launch, and still wasn't happy with how deadly the weaponry is. Every gun unloads a clip in a quarter of a second. On the receiving end it seems as if you're one shotted, every time. Today, I'm rather hit/miss and people have already started the camping fiasco that made MW2 horribad the last 4-5 mo before BO released. I'm going to give it a couple of weeks to clean up, and the first patch to unbreak all the weapons and hope it levels out.

You cannot get away from being shot. You cannot avoid death behind any type of cover (I one shotted a guy through an 8' thick monument with a rapid fire UMP45). I'm seriously contemplating moving back to BO. Fun went out the window.


Oh survival mode and the Spec Ops are fun. I'll do the campaign sometime before Skyrim takes over my life.

I'm having a complete opposite experience! The gameplay has felt the most balanced it ever has in any installment to me. I'm constantly getting away with low health etc and likewise my enemies. Recon and overall map design makes campers far less dangerous than previously.
