Has it really been that bad lately, maybe I've just stop caring.

No insults were flung either. In fact I got topic banned in the thread for simply saying "Why would I be happy for him?" are you saying that justified a topic ban? I was similarly topic banned from random thoughts for commenting on a thread removal. My friend had rumours started about him by a member of staff, and when he tried to sort it he was also told "Take it up with 'Admin'".
There's some serious problems on AH and mostly people are quiet to avoid account removal.
(I'm not for one second trying to imply that I haven't been rightfully suspended and topic banned before either, so don't think I'm making out I'm 100% innocent.)

I personally do not think making this thread will give you a better chance of becoming a mod.
off topic: I personally do not think anyone really has a right to complain about the way this site is ran considering these mods do it for free and take time out of their day to i guess you could say baby sit us. From what i have seen the mods seem to do a pretty good job at running this site and of course there will always be unfair punishments it happens doesnt hurt to have a good topic banned every now and again ;)

I honestly don't know Lillica well enough to give my opinion on whether or not he should be a mod. I do however feel Kalilla is probably the best candidate on the site out of people I feel would be willing to actually take up the position.

i also have a bit of a neutral stance as to the OP being a mod, but good luck to you regardless. but i wanted to say, i really don't think these forums are all that bad, especially compared to so many others on the net. i always come back here for game info, interweb chats, help with random stuff, helping people out, etc. because really, people here are pretty damn friendly. obviously that doesn't go for all the time, no where (especially on the net) is a perfect happy holding hands community.
but really not much of a trolling problem here... the few people that might be considered trolls mostly just have assertive personalities and are just saying what they think, and many take it offensively. not so much of the simple "lol i say stuff and make you mad bro". and when i go somewhere like... the official forums >.> i really appreciate this place all the better. of course this place could use improvements I'm sure, but i like it here more than most other forums (talking like this really makes me feel like i have no life lol)

Do I tend to read Krizz's post with a rude tone implied? Yes but also from reading some of the post's here he has to reply like that.
Other than that I really think the problem some people have with him is his general actions of NOT getting into drawn out arguments with people when he has to pull them up for something.
If they are "trolling" or not I think because people are not given a chance to be a smartarse or try paint him into a corner and "win" the fight they now have a general dislike for him.
My only gripe with the site is the no swearing in pictures but thats about it, I don't know if people ever noticed this but its an AH site.....you know, for checking prices and what not....well thats what I mainly use it for...and lolpics :D

FFXIAH forums used to be more fun and drama filled. The player warnings were justified in most cases (when screenshots were added as proof), those that weren't usually backfired on the OP and often ended up being highly amusing.
Now I feel like we are walking on eggshells and have to chose our words carefully if we don't want our posts deleted.
That's just my personal opinion though, not saying I'm right and everyone disagreeing with me are wrong. And I do recognize that being a forum mod is probably a pain in the butt 99% of the time.

the only real person i see mod this place is krizz, i think the rest try to gently smooth things over with out bringing out the ban hammer and making a situation even worse. there are trouble makers on this forum, but hammer time needs to be used a little less frequent IMO
On point though, i dont know you well enough Lillica, but i guess if you can some how prove that you would do a good job, without having the title, then id vote for you.... though, saying you would clean up a mess and actually doing it.. are two different things... and for the most part the problem with things lately is not so much a mess of things simply on the part of posters, but on the over moderation and fights because of the fact

It's not really a problem with rules, but the way the moderation itself occurs.
And really people that think that just cause someone is a mod they hold the candle of righteousness make me laugh.
Lillica, good luck and think carefully of what you're doing, cause being a mod always sucks regardless of who you are and on what site you're on.

I do agree with you with there not being many mods to control situations on this site.
I do agree we need one more mod to help out Krizz. I think Krizz is doing all he can to do things, he might miss some things and not do anything about them while other things he catches and pushes authority on. (Also I didn't know Krizz can temp-ban people. I know he can TOPIC Ban but not Temp ban. Once again I'd like to remind folks that if you have an issue with moderation, send a PM to a mod. If you don't like the answer you get, then take it up with an admin.
Edit: Also take the time to read through the rules. If you have an issue with any of the rules, send a PM to a mod so that we can start an internal discussion about it if necessary. While it isn't public to non-staff posters, we are constantly discussing potential rule changes / clarification, moderation, and other things.
Also be aware that the OP of that thread is updated when we agree that something needs clarification.
