You might add that to a cup of coffee, when you return to work on a Monday a.m. before work.. shrugs.. Ugh.. complain all you want, I never said Click and buy was awesome, for some ppl it may just be an opportunity that suits them right. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, albeit the lack of sensitivity of name calling here is definately ignorant, you sir... lack mental restraint. Alright then, every time you buy a coffee for $4.75 from now on, you won't get any change. The extra 25 cents is a coffee processing fee. Why pay more for no reason? That's the problem. It's people like you that are the reason these companies get away with pulling this stuff to begin with. It's basic consumer rights. Ok I don't need to go into great financial details, but as a pal pays for my acc, I send him a flat "friend fee" oh let say what is this game a month... 15.00 or 12.75 US or wtf it is...
then I just wire him the $$$ from acc to acc ( b.c we deal with the same bank, just diff branches.) We have been doing this for a long time now, even before Click N Buy b.s started... Meh.. he pays for both of us... so not like I care... shrugs.. I really want to get off C&B ...
Everytime i try and buy Crysta I get to the point where Ultimapay asks for my creditcard and then tell's me the transaction was not completed. Tried 3 cc and 2 Debit cards now and notta.. Never had a paypal acct to go that route either. C&B works... but i want away from them.. before they get around to messing me about! Bail before pushed... Bail before pushed... Use paypal. Keep money in the paypal account. Use that to pay for it through ultimatebuy Bart, that is exactly what I was trying to elaborate on. Is $.25 really, really going to break you or the bank, when it comes to pay a for a mmporg?, on top of the reg fee to play?
Also if you are paying for a coffee the price of $4.25, that is awfully expensive cup of coffee..you sir are definately getting ripped off. ![]() $1.57 in Canada( Extra large) No gouge in cost there. I mean what's a big .25 cents??? You might add that to a cup of coffee, when you return to work on a Monday a.m. before work.. shrugs.. It's actually just the realistic outlook here. Sure you can apply 25 cents to "every scenario", but as it stands and what it's for it's still just 25 cents. Not a big deal etc. Consumer rights or not, you won't be changing it. So move on or move out. Oops, I cared. Edit: On the first part, let me elaborate: If 25 cents for xi is breaking your bank, you might want to rethink your financial priorities. Who has implied it was breaking the bank? It's the fact that they are taking money for nothing. It could be 25 cents or $15. A company taking extra money for nothing IS a big deal, no matter which way you slice it. And the attitude of "Oh well, it's only 25 cents" is the reason they continue to do it. Perhaps that is how they they do business and stay alive..
.15 cents for every transaction... Its called a "process free", but that's ok, fine.. complain moar!!! shrugs Its just a way to make money and keep a business in motion. Its how anyone in the world works... You go to work, you work for an employer, and at the end of the week, you get a pay cheque... shakes head.. As Bart said.. time to re-evaluate if FFXI is financially worth it to you.. Pretty sure the extra small fees have been explained as conversion rates of money ... or something? They are like... overseas? I'm sure there is someone who can explain it more articulately.

Paypal doesn't require a fee for small transactions. Stop talking about something you don't understand. I heard a janitors pay cheque isn't great either, so think about the poor janitors of the world. I don't have a clue what you're talking about.. What do Janitors have to do with it??? XD but w.e argue for the sake of arguing b.c its me, Neonracer. =P <shakes head> Ragnarok.Neonracer said: » Bahamut.Echojin said: » Pretty sure the extra small fees have been explained as conversion rates of money ... or something? If you use Paypal to spend the same amount on crysta you get no fees for the same results. You are obviously bad with finances if you are willing to throw away money freely, and don't even care where or why. But I guess you don't have to worry about it because you don't have a bank/card. Flion, U need to scroll and read.
It's already been mentioned. ugh. Ragnarok.Neonracer said: » Flion open you're mind and quit being ignorant Ragnarok.Neonracer said: » Flion, U need to scroll and read. TL;DR its not a problem for me atm...but sooner or later it will become a problem and i dont want to lose 8+ years of work for bieng nickle and dimed by a shady company they JUST picked up. Quote: If you used your own bank card you'd be more mad about it. *** using your own card to pay with C&B >_>' after seeing everything here i kindly advised the persons whose card i was on to drive me to walmart and get one of their prepaid cards. is there even a number to call square enix anymore i just got suspended and im so pissed off by the situation... i really wanna yell at someone not send a million emails
23 days. It took 23 days for SE to unlock my account.
To amend my first post. I no longer blame Click and Buy. They do suck, but things were settled with Click and Buy in a few minutes. The problem here is entirely the fault of SE's terrible customer service. There's no reason that this should have taken 3 weeks. Not to mention the only penalty should have been to block FFXI access, and not access to my entire SE account. Asura.Miyara said: » 23 days. It took 23 days for SE to unlock my account. I've stopped using clickandbuy as of this month, not because of any fraud charges or fees, but because when i logged in this morning it had cancelled all the content IDs for 3 accounts that i pay for. (mine and my family's accounts). I went onto the SE site to reactivate IDs, and attempted to reset the payment info for clickandbuy, thinking that maybe there was a check-box for automatic payments that i may have missed.. but it gave me an error message and said unable to process. I'm not entirely sure why it did this, since it took my payments just fine last month, but it wasted like a whole 10 minutes of my time so i figured might as well pay with crysta if i'm gonna have these issues every month.
