My daily driver is a 1969 Ford Bronco. When it breaks I pull out a wrench and a stick of bubble gum and I'm on my way. No one should need a rocket surgeon to fix a car when it break down. Combustion engines and carburetors all day.

If we were talking about intelectual skills, I would say being all bases covered gives more value than being specialist in a single topic.

But for sports, unless youre talking about triathlom or similars, there isnt any reason why you would play multiples different ones.

So yeah, if i had 100 skill points to distribute in my sport skills, probably would go like 90% in football, and maybe 10% in running, marathons, martial arts.

Living as a monster, could be fun depending on the monster as long as its something humanoid, I maintain my sense of self, and it is not hideous like a rotting zombie or anything that suffers from the T virus.

I'm fine with losing the ability to express sadness. Losing the ability to express happiness would make maintaining personal relationships tricky and create a lot of weird situations. Society mostly expects men to keep their sadness to themselves anyway, so not a whole lot of difference.

AI takes my job. I already let AI took care many daily tasks anyways, I would love to let AI do more so I can do less.

In fact, I even started using AI to assist important business decisions for me. In March I used AI to perform stock market analysis to decide if I should put more money in the stock market or not, the result was "don't enter the market in March". I felt March was a good time to invest more, there was "tariffs can't be that bad right?" emotions in the market that affected my decision making quality. But I decided to trust AI this time and not enter the market.

Turns out that I was completely wrong about the market but AI was totally correct.

What's the point to even use my own brain to work if AI is smarter than me, lol. Oh AI, my lord and savior.

However, I wouldn't let AI play my video games. I play games for dopamine rush, not money. I would rather let AI make money for me so I can do real dopamine rush activities like dystopian movies depicted.

This might appear to reduce happiness, but getting happiness from food is generally not very healthy. This just ensures you'll eat a diet optimized for health/cost and live longer / derive happiness from more substantial things. Easy choice.

The free market kind of ensures that someone with far above average income will have access to sex, so interesting premise. I guess you enter a contract to avoid sex in exchange for financial security or something. Either way, I've had broke years and I had years where I had no sex. It's a whole lot easier to live without sex.

Now, somewhat derivative of both premises..

You maintain financial security and peak physical health for the rest of your (long) life, but you cannot have sex or enjoy food.

You wake up next morning and find that any debts you've incurred have been forgiven and you have $50,000 under your pillow. Nothing else changes. [Just to create a floor for people who may not already be secure.]

Go to collage get a degree but learn nothing. Once you get a job you are constantly making a fool of your self every day, but always get the higher wages.

Are you sure? It also means that if you enjoy cooking, that no matter how you make the food look or how well you craft it, it'll all taste the same. You would also be unable to relate to anyone else tasting food or any new recipes or flavors that might come around.

What if you chose this option, and the very next day a race of aliens landed and started sharing their food and culture in some sorta hippie idealist scenario? You'd be unable to experience any new flavors.

Comparison is the thief of joy, after all, and if I wind up climbing so high that I make a ton of money, but the college grad path would have given me slightly more... I'd rather not be a fool everyday. I got enough of that already.

For years i and some friends used to play an online betting game. It used to keep us engaged with each other, talking about the hits and misses in the week.

But since two years ago, it began to be too much hassle for me to care. This year none even mentioned playing the game. We just pretend it doesnt exist. And despite being sad letting go a topic that would regularly motivate a talk between university friends that dont see each other for like 15 years, it is still better than forcing everyone else to partake a game that in the end is just a weekly chore, and i just cant find more joy to it.

why not Both :D one of my favorite book series is the Xanth series in one of the books is the character Chameleon her magic talent is that her physical attractiveness and her intelligence vary inversely, a monthly cycle she cannot control. The transformations complicated her personal life, and she found it convenient to adopt three personas with different names: Wynne is among the most beautiful women in Xanth, but is cognitively impaired to the point of being unable to live independently; Dee is of average appearance and intelligence; and Fanchon is hideously ugly but the smartest person in Xanth.

But I have kinda always wondered what that would be like to experience that.

2 Left feet. My left hand is egregiously stupid compared to my right hand, so much so that I think I would struggle to live with two of it. (It's also been a lot weaker since 1. I broke it when I was 13, and 2. Nearly broke it again when stack of steel belted tires fell on me at the end of 2016)
