I am still SUPERBUTTHURT over their choice to generify some of the characters... like the yankee Kana especially so.
What's worse about Kana is that she *** has yankee hair in the OP... but superblack hair in the anime... I doubt people who haven't read the manga would even recognize her in the OP...

It's almost like posting an anime music vid in this thread gives it about a 50% chance it'll be removed from Youtube.

Anyway-- I'd say about half the reason Kill la Kill is as good as it is would be because of its awe inspiring score by Hiroyuki Sawano.

Fan cover, TV size. EXTREMELY good. The lyrics and performance are just on point. Apparently I just stumbled upon his channel, he has collaborations as early as 2009. I like how the English lyrics try to match the original JP ones syllables.

Watched Lain a couple weeks ago and fell in love with the opening.
