I was searching through the forums for info on solo blu cruor farming and could not find any specifics outside of people just saying that they have done it.

Have any of you blu folks done this? How efficient is it? What is a good method for doing so? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Note - I have done a lot of blu burning for xp and gold chests, so hopefully this experience will help. Thanks!

Yeah, its very efficient. I usually go to Misa and either kill crabs/frogs or bats/collibri. I normally don't go solo, but I could if I wanted.

Do you round them up, sleep, and then use physical spells to finish them off or is there something in between. I was thinking of rounding a bunch up, WoR, sleep, maybe some damaging (but not lethal) magical AoE, sleep, and pick them off one by one with melee and physical spells while alternating mob types.

Does this sound about right or am I off base. I have a whm mule to help out, so I wouldn't technically be solo either, but the blue would be doing all the work.

Yeah this I know (the reference to mobs and location is helpful though). I am just looking to see if anyone has spells/process to share. How can I make this as efficient as possible.

I never read about cruor farming... can you write how much cruor per kill you can get at it's cap.

Also, can you illustrate if soloing mobs for cruor gain is faster than a DOM OPS party where u get Cruor per kills, per page, and per chests at the same time?

tks,
PWR!!!

You can't really AoE farm crour. You need to kill each on individually. So grab a rabbit, rape it, grab a puk, rape it ect. Your typical melee spell list should do fine.

Divinian you have the right idea, i dont think they are understanding what you are doing...if you can easly sleep multiple mobs of 2 differant types, AoE them down to say 10-20% life, sleep and then rotate the dif mobs as you kill that is by far the most effect route for solo...but can get rly tricky, when youre getting 500+ crour per kill solo and slip up and kill in wrong order it rly sucks lol...i actually go on thf, attack one, pull on my whm mule and repose as i drop the 1st and repeat...i hate having to ever put my weapon away in exp/crour parties weather it be solo or 18 people lol...o and btw spectators or w/e they are in mis coast and gears are alil challenging to fight but offer much higher cruor per kill than crabs/colibri/bats/frigrates

Crour cap is about the same as XP, so around 650 per kill.

I've 2boxed some and can tell you it is a lot faster with 3 people. The reason is the pulls take way more time than the kills.

I've sat between crawlers and rabbits before and just alternated pulling them (don't even have to move really) and it is just much slower than having 2 rdm/blm (or bard or w/e) round up 15 of each and sleeping them right at your feet.

Also, be sure to bring a key person. You don't want to be wasting crour on keys when there are 99999999 people out there that would love the chance to open chests and leech exp.

After the level increase I imagine you could one shot with both bliz 5/thunder5 if you wanted. I bet you could just about stand in one spot and just alternate nukes if you really wanted to.

This idea isn't far fetched really. You just gotta be careful that your AOE isn't lethal and messes up your order of kill. I suppose you can start off by pulling small amounts, say 2 of each mob for a total of 4, and just time your AOE's with your dream flower, then 1-3 physical spells and you move on. I think this is a good idea instead of the going back and forth method. Curor burning :D

@ Dannyl and Citrelautame

Yeah you got what I had in mind. The reason I would want to do this is precisely to cut down a little of the running back and forth between mobs. I can see how it could get very tricky as one false move and all your hard work is...boom.

@Barber

I don't really run with a consistent group anymore and I find it easier to just figure out speedy ways of doing it myself rather than risk shout parties or w/e. Also, since I am two-boxing most of the time I cut down on the cost of keys by simply sharing the burden between two characters...actually helps out a lot. Thanks for the info though..that Blizz/Thunder V idea is something to look forward to.

with the cruor abyssites and capped silver, a cruor chain reset can be fixed in less than 10 minutes anyways but yeah can be frustrating if constant

orly?

I thought it was pretty much a done deal if it happened. Say you are at 500 and you mess up...would you go back down to the double digits? Is it fixed by simply starting the chain again. This would be good to know in case I do mess up. Thanks.

Simply start the chain again, and all is fixed. Think about when people attack a different mob in an exp PT. It screws it up, but EXP is easily fixed.
