Looks bigger than a gallon. I'd say 1.5 - 2 gallons in size.

So I'd say... 2453 jelly beans.

Nope gotta wait <_<.. And no there's no trickery or anything.. Jar was empty before it was filled with beans, there's nothing hidden inside taking up volume to make it seem as if there's more.
