i was able to run pspdisp on offical firmware 6.36 and hbl. you could prob just sign pspdisp and not have to mess with hbl at all. so unless something has changed since i messed around with it you dont need custom firmware to make this work

Bah honestly got my hopes up until i seen you had to pay for it. Yeah you deserve credit for your work but I don't see myself playing FFXI through PSP a whole lot. If anything I'd use my screen as a monitor and take my keyboard with me or something. Keep up the good work and maybe I'll consider it. Just to much on my table atm but you sir do have talent.

if you go to the video he link then yes that his website he also have a ffxiv version of it tho it lag every 10-30sec don't know if that due to his pc or just the remote play.
But ya you have to pay 10$ for his work to play on psp.

Yeah I'm honestly surprised though most home-brew is free and always has been free. I'm sure it isn't very hard to figure out. Also I don't get the point in charging. All it takes is one "generous person" to spread the config through out the community or the web.
Edit: I'm going to screw around making config files for games. All you do is open it in notepad really.. Keybindings shouldn't be a problem

It's silly, because as soon as you tell someone you're the only one that knows how and charge people for it, someone else will go tinker with it just to prove you wrong, and THEN ruin your chance of earning money with it.
I'm tinkering with it right now. The configs are changed based on keyboard scan codes.. It isn't hard O.o

I would only be selling a txt file with infomation. So if you want to config it follow the guide ill put up or buy the txt files if your lazy. Its kinda a lot of hard work to program the codes and doing trial and error. It can take hours of debugging. Im trying to earn something if i can. Im open to suggestions of trying to earn something for programing codes to get games working on PSP.

Not trying to be an ***, but entire groups of people spend months on indie games only to sell them over Steam for like ten bucks. The same amount you're selling these whatever they are for.

You have to consider how convenient it is to be able to play games like this on a handheld too. People WILL pay for that if they don't want to do the work themselves.

Also, theres a slight lag when using pspdisp.
Also, also, inb4 Vita FFXI.
Also-also-also, the ps2 games thing is sort of neat but...you have to have a decent computer that can run pcsx2 which requires a fairly strong processor to run at full speed.
And then theres the fact that you're basically streaming the game over wifi to your psp.
I'd play Mario RPG and Starfox like this because they don't emulate well on a PSP. >:

The people who seriously consider this probably know all of the risks, I imagine. I just thought it was cool, without knowing all the technical aspects behind it.

The coolest thing about it is being able to link to it over wifi. And it'll emulate the sound too, so you can watch vids and stuff while you're anywhere in the house. coughbathroomcough
