Rudra's Storm Dmg Pics!

When RS is stacked I've seen some really mean damage on pretty much every NM, I'll look through mah pics, see if I can't find a pic

The only reason to ever use rudra's unstacked is if you're outside abyssea. It will do slightly less than DE or Evis, but the aftermath will pull it ahead. Inside abyssea, Evis will beat rudra's (and its aftermath) when unstacked.

I've broken 3k with an unstacked 300TP Rudra's in Abyssea (must have been two TA procs), but yeah the WS is generally not worth using when unstacked.

unstacked rudra's in aby have gone from 100 to 3k+

stacked easily from 7-9k spikes.

idgaf for other WS's most of the time, I love the 300 tp aftermaths, can usually get 2 evis's in after a 300 tp rudra and have 200 tp for the next rudra to keep aftermath on then build back to 300.

zerged a kirin the other night ago with 2 other emp wars and had the highest spike WS over 4k with rudra and only SA. i personally dont find any damage in aby worth mentioning but i'll share a few~

This weaponskill confirms my belief that THF should TA and SA only and stay the hell away from fighting the NM. Otherwise THF just feeds TP so that these devastating TP moves kill the tank.

There are better DD jobs with more subtle blow that can take care of it.

Dancer probably wont wanna throw away their TP on this weaponskill.

Posted this in the climactic thread, but thought I'd post it here also because it's Rudra's related.

Can't say that Mercy Stroke does as much, but it is still in the 5~6k range for me in abyssea, and up around 2.5-3k out of abyssea. I'll have to try a fully tailored build for mercy, in abyssea, at some point to see what I can get out of it, but with the atma I use now it isn't breaking the 7k range like Rudra's Storm will. Then again Rudra's is a dex mod, which doubles by adding more dmg to Sneak attack so ~shrugs~ I don't have WoE or twasthar, and don't know anyone with one to talk about it, so can't really say.

I've also had Mercy full on wiff, but it is a one strike WS when working on all the trials to upgrade it. Oh silly multi-hit looking animation ~sigh~

Martial Knife worth using because of the nice TP bonus it gives? I have daka+2 and the highest i've hit was ~6.8k on some EP lolbirds, and around 3-3.5k on NMs such as orthus, always stacked with SA or TA.

Oh, and here's what i use atm, nothing special and not the best cause i need more inventory space!

Not martial knifee Ryaan, its the fusetto+2 TP bonus. There is a difference as martial knife only affects main hand, but fusetto works in off-hand slot.

edit: And from what I understand its a really nice bonus to rudra's so its a good option.
