Talked
yesterday with German support on phone and he told me the Problem is Not Bank or Cc! The Problem comes From SE Register Server and people From some Country have that troubles with content ID!

they said they would fix it in the few days, but they didn't say when are they gonna be done. i don't get what's up with that. i dunno if we're gonna get our content IDs back by the end of the month and how long they've been at it for.

I'd like to point out that these are two separate issues.

Issue 1: Involves content ID's of current players. A number of you have shown that they acknowledge the issue, but can't fix it.

Issue 2: Involves new players coming to the game being unable to register. They don't acknowledge this problem as their own, so I doubt they'll do anything to fix it.

Im trying both register a new ID aswell as reactivate an old account.
Getting same error on both.
SE will not fix this, atleast is the general idea they hinting to me.

Im in Issue 2 ?

Returning player ( 1 year since last playtime) trying to just update my payment card since old registerd was expierd. But USC 60512.

Even though they said they will contact me when its working, I test 2-3 times each day since sunday, I ve tested so many times that i know my visa cards info by heart now :S

They should fix this asap, since its money im trying to give em , and they wont let me give it to em :P Nice way of doing buissiness ? lol

Will e-mail them 2 times everyday from now. Until its fixed. Just to make em focus more ( dont know if it will help or not.. but if we dont "spam" them and keep silent nothing will be done..

My bank told me I have tried over 50x since July 3rd :( (they keep seeing the 1.00 3D Secure charges)

Maybe not allowing new ppl to play is the way of getting ppl to play FFXIV. :( lol

Lol yeah. Hopefully they fixed it when they merge it but when they get this much problem, I sense the horde of problems they gonna have with that..

Merge ffxiv's payment system into ffxi.

FFXIV uses click anb buy something crystas whatever. And my card works perfect and accepted in FFXIV's paymentinfo. But not in FFXI lol...

Im sensing they wont fix our problems until they start moving POL ID's over, and this isnt b4 1 august :( 2 more weeks +++


Just emailed EU support a long list of sadness.. They will get the same one tomorow. and then I also send to US support. and then JP support.

Maybe more people should post in this thread (I don't have a Square Enix account myself yet) to make them more aware:

Well, tried to update my payment info again today as we happened to get a new card. No dice...

today live chat with german support and Djagmit (is allways the same guy) after i flowed him every day with E-mail or live chat or phone call and suprise i got allways Agent Djagmit...
He told me SE will start Migration end of month 7 to end of month 8 and click and buy is involved in that and try fix some bugs...nice but i dont use that ***was my answer and SE cant find bugs when i am playing? and told him it seems to me SE Germany use message in a bottle to Japan and it is the only way to get people to FFXIV? but reply is allways cant say you anything about this.. but Support SE sucks told me use ELV for Austria and they only accept it in Germany...

this is so ridiciolous..

Why can one of my friends update payment info , and we got the same bank. Why the F*** cant SE tell me/us what is the difference in my Accout/settings etc that differs from my friends which work ? And why doesnt his VISA work on my account but on his ?

TAlked to em now again. A differnt support guy. He treated me as this was my first time contacting them regarding this issue.. well its more like my 5th time since last sunday... And this makes me belive that its not a very proffesional support service.. Not even possible to just activate account... lmao...


well it seems nothing will be done until they move to the new payment system... and then my summer vacation is over, and not as much playtime as i have now.... :(
